You're correct.Cloak and Dagger were retconned to be mutants.The drug that supposedly gave them powers actually awakened their latent mutant abilities.
I am flabbergasted that nobody has yet mentioned that Kingpin beat Cpt. America. It's usually the first thing mentioned. "Morals off, no prep, Kingpin beat Captain America."

He's not the most skilled guy out there, but he's not chump. He can give DD some good fights and take on Spider-Man when he's holding back. I think he can overpower and take down Damian.
