No its horribly disgusting and I want a refund.....
Seriously, I could understand ppl saying they don't know yet or they like it so far, but saying its bad when it hasn't even assembled its team fully yet.....it perplexes
@minisaladfresh: I don't hate her, but I don't think she's relatable so I don't really gravitate towards her.
My favorite mutants/characters are ones that act like a wide variety of people you could meet in everyday life but are in extraordinary circumstances (Monet and Kitty are my favorites for example) or are hard to relate to but easy to empathize with due to unfathomable life events (Magneto and Magik).
Storm is very much so an exalted, fictional person and feels so out of reach in every aspect to me.
I love the classics, but Kitty, Storm, and Jubilee did not have a very good past couple of decades.
Monet, however, went from a character that made me mildly annoyed for having retained her powers after M-Day and is now my all-time favorite. She somehow transformed from the so-convoluted-no-one-wants-to-touch-that to becoming a breakout star in X-Factor, even among some beloved characters.
I vote no on the New X-Men/Young X-Men/JGS/NXS kids. I think there are scattered few interesting things that have been done with them, but as a whole few were created with much leg power. I'd like to see more Rockslide, but the rest...I feel like I've seen them before but done better in New Mutants and Generation X.
Thank god for Bunn's Magneto and the brief, fun reprieve that was Secret Wars. Bendis' run started to pick up steam once he was announced off the title, but it wrapped up with such a disappointing whimper.
