In straight up fisticuffs, Luffy wins. Although Spider-man could just keep webbing him to himself. Luffy can't punch if his arms are cocooned to his torso. But he'd need to be totally webbed up to stop fighting (legs together, arms bound, head wrapped [because I think I recall him doing a stretchy headbutt at one point]). Just webbing parts of Luffy to objects would end up similar to the new Spider-Man movie (where Lizard gets a hand webbed to a locker, rips his hand free, along with a long, sharp piece of metal that's still stuck to his hand). Immobilization is possibly Webhead's only chance of winning, since Luffy's basically immune to blunt force trauma and I doubt Spidey knows about Cursed Fruit folks being unable to swim/losing their powers in seawater.

I probably have repeated what some folks have said, but I read through 3 pages before I just skipped to the end and threw in my 2 cents. As a fan of Spidey, Luffy wins a (large) majority of the time.

Asura brutally wins. As much as I like the Hulk, Asura killed the will of his planet (Gohma Vlitra) while in the Earth's core and his reality's version of God (The Golden Spider, Chakravartin) in Chakravartin's own pocket dimension. He has come back from the dead by being angry enough.

@Xanni15:

How much do wizards that hate "Muggle" tech know about our security systems? The Army will get these guys on camera (provided they don't instantly ruin tech by their very presence, which would be an easy way to find them in Britain given the number of cameras) and replace anyone controlled. If they start giving questionable orders, or every one of their plans have been countered or ambushed, they'll be dropped quickly. And in order to Imperio these guys, they'd have to show up in high security facilities that tend to skip the "Ask intruder to leave" phase and head straight to the shooting. If the wizard isn't stealthy or quick enough to wrap it up before the alarm gets raised or gunshots happen, the question will be raised "Why were they there?" when there's no bombs, no real evidence of espionage or sabotage, and they were spotted in or around the military official's location.

The military's got contingencies and replacements for losing folks in charge. And again, sheer numbers. How many can the wizards take over or remove before the replacements take over and the rest increase security even more? The wizard's win hinges completely on stealth and prep, and given their tendency to let everyone know who they attacked back in the day (leaving their Mark hanging over a house or wherever they killed someone) points to them being treated like terrorists. And the moment one wizard gets captured (all they have to do is break the wizard's little stick), the "I was mind controlled" excuse might not go over that well.

One thing I learned from the Dresden Files, if a wizard has prep, they will win so hard it's not even funny. But Voldy is intentionally anti-normal human ("muggle" just seems racist) and pro-wizard, so he's probably not keeping up with current tech. Snipers can hit a wizard before they throw up a shield, with a bullet that outruns its own sonic boom. They'd have to constantly have wards and shields cast on themselves in order to not get shot. Things like nukes probably won't be used unless necessary, but the only way for a wizard to not be killed by that is to not be there. Something that can reduce a population to shadows burnt onto walls is a bit beyond their charms. Sure, they can make themselves fireproof (and avoid suffocation while in the fire, with the same spell oddly enough), but I doubt they have much experience with radiation and nuclear fission or fusion. That bubble-head charm can probably protect them from gas-based attacks or similar chemicals, since they can SCUBA using it.

The webcomic Sluggy Freelance made a pretty good point about Voldy being unimaginative. The guy's a wizard and he still relies on his 1-hit kill spell to try and kill the kid that's immune to it, without trying any other creative ways to kill. The only skill I've seen him have was that fight with Dumbles. But the Abra Kadabara of Death isn't really impressive. "Oh, you point it at someone and they die? We call those guns, and you don't have to say anything to use them." 6 syllables compared to squeezing one finger. And Inferi? They're zombies, everyone knows how to deal with them. Shotgun + head, or follow the Chunky Salsa Rule (it can't kill you if it's been reduced to something with the consistency of chunky salsa).

Now, if the wizards use stealth, they probably win this. But since normal humans outnumber wizards by a crazy amount, the Army can win through a sheer horde.

Alucard can summon Rip Van Winkle (since he ate her) whose musket "punishes all without distinction" (including missiles, helicopters, multiple targets with one shot, one target multiple times with the same shot, etc), or any of his other familiars (the people/animals/things he's eaten over the years). I don't know Xadhoom that well, but judging from what I've found on various wikis, her nuclear power would likely be her downfall, since they say that if she overexerts herself she'll explode with the force of a small nova. Alucard could easily overwhelm her if he's released of his restraints, since he can summon everything he's consumed (including some fake vampires, a few popes, and many, many more) and send them at her. Or he'll just go right at her, using the lives he absorbed already to survive what she throws at him until he can kill her. I know she doesn't need food, since she's nuclear-powered now, but she's still in need of things like a throat, a head, a heart, correct?

I'm more curious about what happens if he tries to drain her.

Aang. Electro's blasts can be redirected (using the technique used to redirect lightning), Vulture can be easily taken down by wind (Aang did make a tornado when he fought Bumi), Sandman can become Sandstone (or just mud with waterbending), Ock's tentacles keep getting trapped in ice or stone leaving him open each time, and Shocker can get encased in either element while having his hands pointing straight up (so the blasts only go that way and he can't break himself free, unless he can do a full-body thing now. I haven't kept up with him). Rhino's the toughest, because he's... well the toughest. Aang usually doesn't have to hit someone that hard to keep them down. He'll try blasting him around, but Rhino can walk off most of what he's used to doing. So Aang will have to try using his own strength against him (dodging and making Rhino crash into things) or make a deep pit with earthbending. Not down into subways or sewers, I mean deeper. He did that repeatedly in Tales of Ba Sing Se for a zookeeper (which means he made pits deep enough to hold animals, many of which could climb or leap better than an average human).

Aang would rarely firebend, because he's a monk that holds life sacred and fire is typically lethal. He might do short bursts as a distraction, because a sudden blast of fire usually makes someone recoil a bit. He can easily raise some mist for cover and do what Toph did in her first appearance, use the earth sense pick them off while they're fighting blind.

If full knowledge includes the Balrog's name, Harry Dresden easily wins this. Since he could just summon and bind it during his prep time. And either way, with prep time he can just set up a ritual to stomp. And with a destroyed Chicago (less bystanders around), he'll make one dangerous ritual. Probably close to his teacher's satellite drop.

In character and "to the death" doesn't really work for Harry (so far, we haven't seen what the Winter Queen will make him do now that she owns him), since there's a big "No killing with magic" rule that he broke once when he was a kid in self-defense and has avoided doing again for the most part since then. That rule only applies to humans, so he gets to blast apart other things all the time. I don't know much about Brother Voodoo, but on his bio here it says he can go fireproof by going into a trance, control fire and plants/animals. He also has occasionally used guns. His fireproof ability probably has a secondary ability so he doesn't suffocate because of the heat.

Harry Dresden likes using fire (to the point where one book opens with "The building was on fire and it wasn't my fault."), wind, and force (blasts of kinetic energy). But he can use any element he can make a spell for. He's used gravity, animated brooms, raised a zombie t-rex, used his fire spell to freeze things by ripping the heat away (and used that heat for a simultaneous attack), He also uses a really big gun. And this is before going into what a Winter Knight is capable of, plus the Death Curse.

Dresden wins or causes a stalemate.

This is Wyzen. He used to be on the Eight Guardian Generals with Asura. He could not stop Asura. Neither could Augus, Asura's mentor, who had a sword 380000 kilometers long that ended up entering Asura's torso and exiting through Australia while they were re-entering Earth's atmosphere (since the fight started on the moon). And then Chakravartin, whose very existence provided all the Mantra in the universe, could not stop him, and the Golden Spider was responsible for the creation of the Gohma as a test for Asura. He was planning on having Asura be the god of Earth while he went off to play with the rest of the universe. Asura declined the offer. While inside the dimension created by Chakravartin, where Chakravartin had control over everything (including space-time) and Asura had been powered down from his Destructor form. Even if Spawn doesn't want to brawl with Asura, Asura's going to make that happen.

Asura is way too powerful,I'm sorry,my opinion.. Spawn will put up a decent fight, but in no way do I see asura losing... But spawn is an entity of hell.. So the fight wouldn't be easy, and in no way can asura beat spawn with just two arms.. He'll need his full strength and power potential.. But asura destroyed Gods! Asura kills spawn in a battle that'll last till spawn burns out his energy,IMO But game feats? Versus comic feats? I dunno.. Kinda sketchy.. Anybody else feel like that?

Spawn killed the devil in his own dimesion. And this devil had complete control over his being. Spawn's power also comes from Gaia, the earth itself. He beats Urizen on a lazy day. your point?

When Asura killed Chakravartin, it was in his own dimension too. His was called "Event Horizon" and he also had control over space-time. And Spawn's power also coming from Gaia isn't impressive when Asura killed the will of his Gaia, Gohma Vlitra.
