This does make the situation seem more hopeless and permanent (or long-term, at least), but a magic retcon or time line could still set all this correct. He will toy with us a little bit, I'm sure, getting Dr.Strange or something to say "It's impossible", but we all know Peter will be back. ummm, right guys?

Anyone know the deal with Iron Man 258.1 and Iron Man: Coming of the Melter? Creative teams? continuity? Movie tie-ins?

Anyways, stoked for Invincible Universe, Spiderman, Thanos Rising, new Batwing status quo, Age of Ultron, Aquaman, Swamp Thing and Animal Man.

Also, I haven't read Spawn since like issue 78, is there a cool jumping on point or is it worth reading now?

I don't think anyone would be suffering too bad if a "Snydely Whiplash" comic never existed.

Hopefully they just do a crossover with the Punisher and he can put that villain in the grave for good.

I love that Gotham PD sends in three pigs with baseball bats to smash the bat-signal instead of a couple maintenance guys with tools to deconstruct it. The metaphor is uncanny.

Even reading most of this series in a short period of time, I am still so confused issue-to-issue that I have pretty much dropped it. I also love..d the series but around 16-20, there were so many loose ends and mysteries and time travel and double/triple/quadruple crosses with various motives that it wasn't fun or suspenseful for me anymore. I get kinda confused with Spencer's current Secret Avengers run too.. am I dumb or is he just not the writer for me or is it straight-up difficult to follow (as this review alluded to, somewhat)?
