I think Zane would make a great luthor aslong as they can really make people believe in the dual nature of the character. I've always liked Lex as a mastermind type, while keeping a good and clean image in public he would do the most horrible and nasty things through his control of others. I think in these Superman films he should be the driving force of conflict for superman but not the direct cause of it. There should be a raising tension between Superman and Lex maybe over the course of 2 or 3 films coming to a head in a grand and final confrontation where fans can finally say "Yes we finally get to see this!"
@grimreaper1980: Cuz when you reboot something there must be nothing connecting the old project with it's replacement project or else you run the risk of people not accepting it as something new and just considering it a new chapter in the exciting franchise.
do you think that all the double duty characters will be doing in heroic age is lazy? (just use the characters people are willing to buy a book for) or bad writing (Writers unwilling to incorporate new "unbankable" characters or materials)???
All i know is i don't like characters on multiple teams at one time.
@thegentlemanrogue: i agree with what your saying but i think you don't take into consideration the basic frustration people may have not with him being in a whopping number of books but that those books put him in san fransico, new york, japan and russia all in the same month. well at least thats what ticks me off about him.
the only wolverine book that was in anyway intresting recently was old man logan cuz it was something different, and wolverine really needs to be something different now cuz he's getting old. personally i liked him when he was an jerk who liked to fight and get drunk.
Wait wait wait... who parents would name their first born kid jimmy and then name his brother jimmy again?
I do have to say the thing that pisses me off about the show is that all the villains know who Clark is. Cuz he's not Superman yet and he doesn't have a secret identity yet so when he confronts someone he may call himself the blur but he's just Clark (Matrix uniform or red and blue country clothes) So really even if he became Superman now, Metallo could just come along and say "Hey everybody this guy at the newpaper is just Superman with glass."
They killed Jimmy Olson so no one is safe and for those who say that Chloe has to die cuz she's not a part to the Superman comics let me just say this is not Superman. Well not the one we know on earth 1, when it comes to "Smallville" I like to think of it as earth 42 so i don't get super mad at some of the things that happen on that show.
