Bane would mop the floor with the Watchmen at H2H, Veidt included. Silk Spectre is featless, Nite-Owl is featless, Comedian is featless, and Rorschach ---- oh boy, Rorschach --- would actually be better off featless, considering that his feats are so pathetic Damian Wayne would make mincemeat out of him. If there were a prize for the least effective vigilante in a superhero book, Rorschach would win every single time seeing as even D-Man has done something or the other that beats getting your ass handed to you by fodder cops.......
........and fodder thugs.
Rorschach does not have a single feat to support the notion that he would NOT get one-shotted by Bane. Neither do Silk Spectre or Nite-Owl. Nor does Comedian, and no, he did not beat Ozymandias when he was younger. Veidt stated that he was holding back on purpose.
The only real "feats" any of these people have are beating up fodder goons, something even Alfred Pennyworth can do and has done, and yet I'm expected to believe the rubbish circulating about how these losers are "As skilled as Batman!"? Give me a break. None of these people have a single skill feat that suggests they can contend with Bane in that regard. Name one feat from ANY of them, Ozy included, that matches fighting on even grounds with Batman, or stomping Nightwing twice, or going toe-to-toe with Jean-Paul Valley. A single feat will do. I'll save you people some time; there aren't any. And no, Ozy beating up Dreiberg and Rorschach doesn't count. Rorschach is pathetic, as previously demonstrated, and Nite-Owl does not have a single feat outside of beating up fodder.

I will never understand why so many people are driven into fits of lust over this feat. Ozy caught a bullet by noting its trajectory before it was fired. He had already moved his hand into position before Silk Spectre fired the bullet.
So flipping what? Batman has blocked machine gun fire with one hand by noting its trajectory.
Every street leveler in a comic book reacts to bullets this same way. Bane has never once had a problem with Batman's speed. Ozy's speed is not going to save him from getting killed.

Veidt's best strength feat is chucking a 200 pound man through a glass wall. Big whoop. Batman swings 600 pound Man-Bats through the air and benchpresses 600 pounds of earth while in a disastrously weakened condition and buried alive, and Bane has always been portrayed as his superior in terms of strength. We're talking about a guy who rips out stone prison walls and tears soldiers in military combat techsuits apart with his bare hands, without Venom, and you people actually think Ozy can compare? Seriously?
Ozy can call Bubastis, teh genetikally enginreed lynx and he will solo!!
Right, a genetically engineered lynx. Because oversized animals have traditionally fared so well against Bane, amirite?

Give me a break. Every street leveler encounters people with guns. I am not even going to dignify this with any further thought. This is Eddie Blake we're talking about, not freaking Deadshot.
Rounds 1 and 2, Bane wins, and does so easily. These people are nothing he hasn't handled several times before. I have no idea why Watchmen of all possible franchises engenders so much fanboy love, but whatever. Have you people even read the books or are you just going off the movie? These two rounds aren't even debatable.
Rounds 3 and 4 are the only ones the Watchmen have any chance of winning, thanks to Veidt's resources.

Well i'm confused. Is it possible both Miguel and Peter are Spider-man in Superior Spider-man but they're just taking turns in the suit?
I think Peter will do something that makes him give up the webs, or someone dies causing him to give up the webs. Miguel will step in for a bit, but it leaves the road open for Peter to make his eventual and inevitable return.
I hope Peter is forced to kill Alpha. Who is with me?

The new Spidey is supposed to have a relationship with MJ, so a no go there.
As well, there is going to be an Alpha miniseries following ASM #700 in which Alpha has to go back to visit Peter for check ups and such...so, Peter will not die in 700.
If the Miguel post by Slott is a red herring then although Miguel would be a simple answer (and also makes sense) what if the new Spider-man is Tiberius Stone? If he found out Peter was Spider-man and got him killed in 700 he might feel guilty. We know the guy is smart (building the Spider-sense jammer etc...). If we jumped ahead to 2099 Miguel when attempting to make a hybrid for the first time failed because the genetics did not match the research. How does this fit in with Tiberius you ask? Tiberius Stone has the last name of Miguel's father (Tyler Stone) what if Tiberius is Tyler's and Miguels ancestor. If Tiberius creates a formula that turns him into Spider-man giving him Miguel's powerset then the formula would be tailored to his DNA. This could explain why the procedure failed on the first guy in the year 2099 when Miguel experimented on him but didn't fail on Miguel. Miguel as Tiberius's family would have a very similar genetic make up thus why the experiment didn't fail on him. We know Miguel had past research on Spider-man but what if the stuff he had was from Tiberius's run as SM? Hence the reason the experiment worked on him but mutated and killed anyone else due to poorly matching genetic code. If thats the case then Tiberius would have a matching powerset to Miguel (including his eyes!) the post by Slott could have been a red herring making us think we're talking about Miguel when in actual fact we are talking about someone with his powerset! Finally we know Tiberius is a jerk! He even stole Tony Stark's girlfriend (is MJ next?) which would explain the douchebag behavior. I'd prefer it be Miguel than this though lol!

We know he's smart and his research is what Miguel could use in the future to turn himself into Spider-man 2099. When Miguel tried to create a hybrid the first time it died because the gene splicing wasn't right but when he did it on himself it worked! Miguel as Tiberius's direct family might have the same genetic code as him. It could just be Stone but with O'Hara's abilities! We know Stone is a jerk! That guy in ASM who betrayed Horizon. Tiberius Stone I think his name was. He has the same last name as Miguel O'Hara's father and brother! There's a connection there somewhere! We have the X-men coming back from the past so there's a possibility of some time fluctuation thing going on.
I was trying to shield you from it brother...how can you expect me to keep you from the evils of this world if you intentionally seek them out?!?!?!

Anyhow, with the character design and so on, it makes sense.
