I wasn't aware that Norman Osborn was Marvel's answer to Lex Luthor, but this reminds me too much of when Lex ran for president in 2000. I always felt he was the Earth-616 Joker.

While Norman is highly intelligent, he is also dangerously unstable, and mental instability always shines through eventually. I give it the next major event (War of Kings) or the one after that. Which should be starting... what, like a week from now??

Not that I'm a fan of overly-violent shoot-em up movies where the main characters have about as much depth as the guns they wield... but I'm tired of production companies green-lighting movies which don't need to be made.

When Thomas Jane indicated that he wasn't up for a Punisher sequel despite the first one being surprisingly good and doing pretty well at the box office it should have been a friggen sign. But, no. They pushed it forward with a different and lesser known actor, not to mention a
