Iron Man 3 in a top ten list? What was so good about this movie that I missed? Why does everyone love that movie so much?

The first half was epic, I'll give you that, but the second half was utter garbage IMO.

Surprised that Iron Man 3 is in the list.

You would put Iron Man 3 over The Wolverine? Interesting.

Didn't expect that.

I couldn't look over the fact that every single scene with Viper is horrible.

That's true, Viper was terrible.

But I just didn't think you'd like Iron man 3, was surprised a bit :P

I don't care about Mandarin and I liked Ben Kingsley in that role, so it didn't matter to me.

No Cap 2?

Felt hollow to me. Didn't really have a villain, what with Redford phoning it in and Bucky having about 10 lines total.

Where are Rises and Sin City? Did you stop liking them?

Iron Man 3 over MOS,Cap 2,Avengers and Rises? BLASPHEMY.

I......actually forgot about Sin City completely. Added.

Rises I'm ambivalent about. I like it generally, but structure-wise I think the films on the list are better.

So it isn't as good as everyone is saying?

It depends on what you expect out of it. As an action/thriller, it's as good as everyone is saying.

Interesting way of looking at it,I didn't think of this movie as a political thriller,I guess if you do it might come across as half baked and pretentious. I managed to stay clear of the trailers and promos so I personally never went in expecting something along those lines.

Winter Soldier was definitely criminally underused,he was more of a plot device than a character, scratch that I dont think he was even a plot device, more like elite fodder, still the character has the chance to show up in future movies.

It was actually Marvel's Kevin Feige who said this movie was going to be a political thriller more than a year ago.

Sebastian Stan has a 9-picture deal with Marvel, so I think it's practically confirmed at this point that he's going to replace Steve in some capacity. Chris Evans' contract is for 6 appearances as Captain America, of which he has already done 4 (The First Avenger, The Avengers, Thor: The Dark World and The Winter Soldier) leaving only Age of Ultron and the third CA film. He's also said he has no interest in extending his contract because he intends to quit acting and take up directing, so he's likely not appearing in the third Avengers film.

Shang got his ass kicked.

Good. Shang's good, but Gorgon? The dude's a freaking beast. It would take some serious plot for Chi to legitimately defeat Gorgon. Or Daredevil would have to make a cameo...

He lasted for a while thanks to aforementioned serious plot, but eventually Gorgon got real and beat his ass.
