Man of Steel is one of my top 3 favorite CBM ever, (also, wholeheartedly approve Cavill's casting), so no. Snyder circa BvS' period can rot in hell.

They should have kept him to work on visual style and fight scenes imho.

Red Son Superman (comics version, at least) isn't even scary (and hardly a villain, to begin with).
