I'll be borrowing my brother's copy along with his Wii-U in a few days. The last 'newer' Zelda game I played was Twilight Princess which was, like, a decade ago. I've wanted to play Skyward Sword, but I heard the controls are a bit clunky.
Finally saw Creed last night on Amazon Prime. What a movie.
My dad and I are gonna marathon the other Rocky movies around the week. I remember we saw Rocky Balboa (the 2006 movie) in theaters, and I was fangirling so much seeing Jess from Gilmore Girls in it. xD
Still haven't picked up Final Fantasy preorder and really debating whether I should get it or not.
I hope you didn't pre-order the Collector's Edition. It's worth hundreds and hundreds of dollars, but doesn't even come with all the pre-order bonuses, lol.
Anyways, I beated the main story a few days ago (got an early copy last Wednesday). I feel like the game is better than XIII and XII (the latter I'm a fan of, but it had a similar development history to XV). My only two grips are the bad lip syncing (probably due to the several rewrites) and the story presentation. The story itself is rather simple and coherent, but its presentation is rather disjointed. I'll be writing up a review after the holidays, but I'd rate XV an 8 or 8.5. The game gives me hope for the franchise's future.
I just saw that Final Fantasy XV live action trailer. Makes me want to buy the game sooner than I planned to...
Pretty much posted my thoughts above, but it's a good game.
I'm just kinda bummed out that the Insomnia invasion was cut out and made into a movie instead. It's like removing the first section of Midgar, and starting VII off with the party making their way to Kalm.
Installing Final Fantasy XV at the moment. Hype is outta the roof!
I've been playing XV since last Wednesday, lol. Got an early copy.
Am pleased it's officially out, though. Waited half my life for it to release.
I'm only on Chapter 9 since I've been taking my time through the main story.
Hah. You should tell me how you grabbed an early copy so I could do it for other games, heh.
In all seriousness, I hope you're enjoying this game which you've waited for since before I was born. Are you still reviewing the game? I look forward to hearing your thoughts.
For now, enjoy the game. I admire your patience in taking your time!
Pawnman81 on eBay. I know a lot of people who use him, and he's very reliable.
Ah, I am very much enjoying it. :) Does have a few flaws, but I feel like XV is in the right direction for the series. It gives me hope that the future mainline titles will be promising. How are you liking it, though? Is this your first Final Fantasy?
I'll still be reviewing XV, but I'm not sure if I'll be posting it as a blog on here. I moderate a Final Fantasy fansite, so I might just post it on there instead and update my CV status with a link to it. Regardless, my review probably won't be out until after the holidays. I already know how XV ends (which I thought was obvious for several years, but some people seem to be mad despite how fitting it is with the game's story), but I still wanna take my time playing and let my thoughts sink in for awhile.
Ha ha, thanks. :) I feel like Hajime Tabata (main director) did a good job handling XV, given that the project was originally created and directed by Tetsuya Nomura.
