Guess Who I Got A Birthday Message From?

I wasn't gonna make a blog of this but well, I'm just very happy that he actually answered. I'll let you see who it is for yourself.

That is right. I got a message from Solid Snake and Big Boss.

I've been a fan of Metal Gear Solid since 2008 and been an addict since. I don't usually post short blogs like this but well, right now I'm having a bit of a fangirling moment. =D

He was also the Guyver in the sequel and voiced Captain America in the Spider Man animated series. Also, he wrote the screenplay for the first X-Men movie and had a cameo.....

He is geek hierarchy

Posted by Samimista

@bumpyboo: Ha ha! I didn't know this til I saw on his Twitter (I never use it really) that his daughter's Birthday was yesterday. Didn't know that. =O In December I got a reply from Quinton Flynn who voice acts Raiden. Have that in the gallery along with a Tweet from Joakim Mogren. ^__^

He also wrote the screenplay for Watchmen, David Hayter. =D

Posted by Samimista

@cattlebattle: He really is. Such an awesome human being as well. This will probably be my last blog for a week at least since lately I've been posting a bit of them. xD

Posted by BumpyBoo

@samimista: Ooooh, get you, rubbing shoulders with stars! That is so cool! ^_^

Can't think of anyone more deserving of some celebrity birthday attention <3

@bumpyboo: We should get Tara to answer you on your Birthday. =D You remind me a lot of her with how you're such a good role model and funny. =D

Posted by BumpyBoo

@samimista: Awwww thank you, that is such a compliment, Tara is amazing!! O_O

I already thought she was really talented but when you showed me some of the things she does in real life....wow, she really is such a great woman :)

I'm jealous. :P

Edited by Samimista

@cattlebattle: Thank you! =D I thought I'd use Twitter today since I've seen people have luck getting replies from people they look up to on their Birthdays and sure enough he answered. 0.0 Before the recent MGS movie announcement (there's been a few in the past) he actually wrote a screenplay but it got denied. =(

Edited by Samimista

@xanni15: Let's try to get someone you admire to reply back! =D Maybe we can get Simba to write to you. =O I've seen your Lion King theme before. =D Love that movie.

@bumpyboo: Anytime you deserve it. =D She's always so nice and caring too. Funny, she was in my childhood yet I never realized who she voice acted til maybe a year ago. 0.0 Great job on that she does.

I see....well today is also Micheal Fassbenders birthday, Alec Giuness (who is dead actually) and the guy who played Agent Coulson in the Avengers...so you share a birthday with a SHEILD agent, Magneto and Obi Wan Kenobi :)

Edited by Samimista

@cattlebattle: Oh wow! =O I did not know that. RIP Alec. Can't wait for the next Star Wars movie.

EPIC.

Posted by Samimista

@ellie_knightfall: It really is. =D Months ago I got replies from Quinton Flynn and even Joakim Mogren back when everyone thought that was just a joke and didn't realize that Hideo really hired an actor to play Joakim.

Not really familiar with the franchise nor have I really gotten into it.But that is cool :)

Posted by Samimista

@mrdecepticonleader: It really is. ^__^ I've seen interviews of him and he seems so laidback in real life. I wonder if it hurts doing the Snake voice though. 0.0 He's getting up there in age Hayter.

Posted by deadpoolrules

Nice,it almost beat Stan Lee following me on Twitter for two days =P

Edited by Samimista

@deadpoolrules: Whoa! =O I didn't know that. But you said for two days...Did he stop following you or do you mean he followed you two days ago? *Derpy Hooves moment* xD

Ha sometimes I wonder the same when Welker plays Megatron and he does a really raspy voice, because when I try doing an impression of it,it sometimes hurts my voice :) His current voice in Prime as him is more toned down and not as raspy as it was in G1 or the movie games. So maybe it did or he just wanted to make him sound not as raspy to try and make him sound more threatening (?)

I am just....screaming... LOL -- and OMG --- hahahha -- how perfect is this?

Raiden and Snake and GAH!!!!!!!

I am so happy for you, Sammy!

Frank Welker is amazing. =D It's nice the franchise keeps him around too. Starscreamer has always been my favorite besides Megatron. Even have a Starscreamer shirt. =D

@lykopis: I know right? =D First Mogren, Raiden and now Snake. 0.0 This is too perfect. I didn't know this til I signed on Twitter today but David Hayter's daughter's Birthday was actually yesterday which was supposed to be my Birthday but mom had to hold it in a day later so my sister wouldn't tease me. xD

@mrdecepticonleader:Action figures are always nice. =D I'd collect them but I don't know where they'd go. My room's mostly filled with a Japanese tea set and vases. 0.0

Posted by mrdecepticonleader

@samimista: Ha ha I see.Are the vases Japanese as well? or just vases in general?

Edited by Samimista

@mrdecepticonleader: Japanese as well. ^__^ I even have three pictures hung up of Kanji writing that represents; prosperity, love and wisdom. I find the culture to be very beautiful and someday would like to visit Japan. Cherry blossom trees are my favorites. =D

Yup! Have you ever seen 5 Centimeters Per Second? If not you should. Very well done anime movie. It compares relationships to cherry blossoms with how they drift off five centimeters per second. The metaphor in the movie is really creative though. That and The Promised Place In Our Early Days are my favorite anime movies. =D

@yourneighborhoodcomicgeek: Ha! xD I grew up on Firefox mostly so very used to it. =D I've tried Chrome before. Such a different setup. o-o

@caiotrubat:I didn't expect it either. 0.0 I never use Twitter but it seems that people get lucky to receive messages on their Birthdays from celebrities so I decided to give it a chance. xD Maybe I really am Mogren. =O

@akbogert:Not as awesome as you. =D You always have such in depth posts. ^__^

@samimista: Well, remember that time when Quinton Flynn replied to one of your tweets? You are the most inclined to interact with celebrities here than most users!!!
