Mercenary had lived to his legend like roots when he landed this was only reconfirmed by the responce and reaction to her attack. As expected the bringer of death avoided the coming fist. Her knuckles striking the ground and making blades erupt from the earth the effects managed to be devastating. As her vectors caught Mercenary in a vice like grip spikes shattered bones in his leg. He was to cuning to be removed from the game by such, he had managed to slice through the spikes to avoid lethal side effects. Then before he made his attack he made the most astounding of moves.
Mercenary cut off his leg, just slash and he's bouncing about one footed. Forget the wounds he simply shruged it off, maybe his mutations originated from a flamingo. There was only one thing to disrupt her excitement from the move. No blood, gore didn't spill how boring what was the point in such a thing? Sure the attack was nice but through out it all she pondered on the boring nature of this limb and lack of gore. The attack was sound in response starting first with a quick sweep towards her back. The blade from what she saw in the first round was to much trouble to try and transmute. Not that she couldn't because she studied constantly to know about the elements and chemicals of the world. It was designed to fight electric and magnetic forces however it was safe to say she couldn't get promising results. She resorted to the alternative, her vectors needed to be used as a means to counter coming attacks she would have to use alchemy as a shield.
A wall forged of the concrete at her feet rose in a spherical formation designed to shield her. The blade cleaved through such baricades and dug into flesh. While the sphere shielded her from the major blow the weapon still bit skin, if the city didn't serve her as well as it had that small gash on her back would have been the severing of her spine. Of course this was just a single move of his fierce barage. As quick as they lashed out the acused witch couldn't tell if the offensive was physical or cybernetic in nature. Her vectors instinctively blocked it, they had been scratched earlier by the blade but such limbs were not effected by the blade. When the fists colided with the unseen limbs Hex was pushed backwards. The perfect opening for the final move, which in hindsight was not the wisest at least in her opinion. Electrical tendrils came from his hands lashing towards her, aimed to insnare her, electricity coursing through.
"Good reasoning" was the words that came from her small voice. The seventeen year old winking almost flirtatiously at her statment towards the remark. The whips coiled around her and surely if she let them continue to hold tight it would hurt. Perhaps she would of convulsed and dropped just like that. Kurent and Overkill seamed like they might turn to such a tactic, she hoped to hell her contestants were more creative than that. To break the hold Hex had two means to resort to. She knew it would get her free, how effective it proved to be offensivly however was to be seen. First came the unseen limbs that useing there unnatural strength would push the coils away. Hopefully the metalic serpents would shatter from the force aplied. As she pushed away the vectors called upon her primary asset of alchemy. Twisting the metal into brittle steel so that any movement would lead to it falling apart. It was hard to say if the epic assassin had a resistance to it. The primary reason however was simply to allow Salem to move into position for the colaborative attack.
It started with Overkill a massive force of concussive energy shattered the field glass fell like rain and towers rumbled. Though the sound of canon fire creaking walls and the grinding of metal flooded her ears she could hear the cheers of the crowd. They were on the field of conflict yes but all of this was a spectacle and in the eyes of the public the curent contestants had rosen to over whelming status. Like gods of the arena. As if things were not hightened enough the pain of Orchid resulted in the most fierce of motions. Towers fell and streets shattered asuming she caught glimpses of the fight like she thought the city was resisting him, the devastation served it right. As the city attacked the opponents like a tidal wave of concrete. Then like a whisper she heard Orchid's plee, amongst the symphony of ruin one could barely hear it but by the grace of chaos she made it out. In a sequence of acrobotic leaps she managed to make it to her team mate only barely missing the city manipulators assault.
Swiping her finger across the fresh cut from before she touched the seal. Thrusting her hand into a piece of glass that burried its self into her palm. Fresh blood marked that skull helm changed it to mark the man beneath. Feral violent rejuvinated by the blood of his prey, a simple paint job it might of looked like but it served as so much more. The blood twisted by alchemy made blood cells highten advancing healing for a moment. It might not be perfect but the manipulator of cities could now continue unhindered. The blood also served as a similar transfusion like that in the previous match. Orchid's atributes began to mold with hers and thus came a wave of psychic force. The city in agonized gasps talked to her. Despite the pain however her words were clear and crystalin in texture. So soft and serene even in the calamity taking place. "I get it. I really do. You all long for the fame and fortune to build a city like this one. You might kill all in your path, scorch the world, twist your body, bend the weak to your talons grasp, move cities or even comand the world to get it. Nothing will tie your desire to reach for the hevans and build a city of gold. As the one woman pure and wise in this domain allow me to brighten youre knowledge." As the soft words echoed in her mind she could feal her minds reach glow. She could feal the presence of every fading life near by and the elements around her. Soon enough she was contemplating the next act. The third set of the teams wide massive attacks.
The field flooded rain lifting pieces of debree and turning the location black. Oil flooded the water turned it a sickening color. As the ground rose creating a sequence of metal and stone pillars for the ongoing fights Salem figured out what best to do. Using the chants and shout based spells of his kind her father had done this. Some elements however hold no sway over the chemicals of the world. Water has no bind on some things and Hex knew what such was using telekenisis granted by the city she lifted a sheet of earth the black water flowing as the ground rose and only glass remained. Orchid was lifted with her, his actions were his own she simply wanted him out of the way of the pending harm. In a downward jab with all of her vectors the circular platform of earth would shatter. Her hand coming down at the same instant striking one of the fractured rocks. As the ground shattered she altered the chemical balance twisting the earth into white phosphorus. To douse such a burn one had to eliminate all source of oxygen.
The water below might if it kept at such a constant downpoor but even then it might be nulified by the fuel that would more likely encourage it than kill the oxygen flow. Orchid and herself were descending behind it and as such they were clear, and of course energy could allow Peter to shield himself. Mercenary Gearo and Kaligar were not so fortunant. If she calculated right Gearo would be fine till one landed in his exposed circuitry and could carry an effect over into the functionality. Mercenary was still flesh and skin was such a weak resiliance to the flesh burning chemical. The one she was most curious of however was Kaligar, assuming his scales still counted as a type of bone or tisue the burn would likely be longer endured. Why couldn't she be so blessed as to have one of his kin for a test subject? Decending from the skies and landing on the platform she finished off her moves with a wave of psychic force towards the remaining contestants. Gearo was pointless to attack with a psychic onslought the other two however were not. Her hope was that lash at the nervous system and mind would stun enough for critical blows. Her four vectors consistantly sharp and strong aimed to pulverise the master swordsman's ribs. Each vector aimed at a difrent portion to avoid as much chance of blocking as possible. The apendages could then be used to block if needed. Against such a legend Hex needed to keep a deffensive available.
