It was the most captivating bizare thing she had ever witnessed. She might have even taken the cocky b-stard up on his offer if not for the fact children screamed boring jobs, there was also the whole anger thing geting in the way. At this moment she was vengeance and men were the ones to be victimized, Sence Gearo was scrap and Orchid was an adorable ally that made Mercenary the only person for her to kill. Salem Hex was going to eviscrate that body untill all that was left was his gray colored blood and a pile of fleshy bits.

Despite his leg nearly done regrowing being incenerated with his working one the Lord of Life continued to attack. He used his hands to propell himself around the battlefield added with his teleportation abilities. Despite all the gun fire and flames he weaved through the onslought and got in close.  The katana came down aimed to sever her arm a stray final bolt from Gearo also caught her eye. Jerking her arm back the bolt slamed into the ground the crossfire tweaking her deffences just enough for Mercenary to strike a blow. Blood oozed from the slightly deep cut in her shoulder. A clever play that only promised to get uglier.

Landing he fliped behind her and leapt at her spine. The blade aimed for what would sertainly be a killing blow. A single sword wasn't going to be enough though the vectors caught it unscathed though she sertainly would have a migrane in the morning. Mercenary was not someone who came unprepared though and in his hands only dance of death he again leapt over her and in flight removed more cubes. Directly above her the cubes unraveled into a endless variety of gernades. A tap of her foot and the cement folded into a bubble like shield for her. Hex though not blown apart could feel her flesh burn as the cement and metal absorbed the heat. Salem though was a Roxom blood was her water the heart her meal pain was evidently life. If anything she fealt invigorated by the turmoil.

Orchid made a move for the killers throat aimed to rip his jugular straight from his neck. A force of telekenetic energy came with it aimed to force the target into the attack. Then came her own wave as she unholstered the four rifles on her back and a fresh clip of rounds snapped into the chamber of the mini gun. The five guns opening fire on his position yet again. Her barage would not stop till her guns ran dry but even that was just the start of it all. She had also called in the aid of a pilot above. Telepathy forcefully instructing the soldier to do as the alchemist wished. A near endless stream of bullets rained down.

In the years of off and on war friendly fire has always been dreaded. Time goes on and it grows more scarce but still the unlucky friendly blow is made. Being in a war that never ceased however this planet was almost prone to such mistakes. The city had told her how before it was an all out war when sides could still be chosen there was a ace pilot of legend. Of course she won dog fight after dog fight her main praise though arose from acuracy.  Useing her main gun she had managed to snipe a general in the head from roughly a mile up and two miles away from target. The general wished to fight for the people he stood in the crowd not at some podium. Never the less the pilot of old killed the leader. That was thousands of years ago Hex could hardly fathom trying to guess how much the weaponry had improved. The same amunition as what the witch fired rained down the threat to Orchid was minimal yet the fatal legacy was looking at a grinder of gunfire aimed at him.

Soon as guns were dry she dashed towards her target yet again. Hex needed to keep up the momentum if she was to win this match. The four vectors shot out towards Mercenary's arms two coming down in an x formation the other two up. This being aimed to limit odds of breaking away if they coiled around the killers arms they would ignite. Alchemy aiming to incinerate what limbs remained. Meanwhile the turret like gun snaped into place aimed for his skull. A long salvo of amunition that was lethal if missed likely fatal if the grab succeeded. The daughter of Az and Kaligar Roxom the prodigal daughter of vengeance also was more then ready to switch to deffence, she refused to go down in her tournament in round two.

A City's Final Breath

The time of Dytorais creation was near the start of this distant world. Of course it had not always been the utopia humanity laid eyes on. No Dytorais started as a small camp of tents it was legend says here where the empire started. As the tents grew to buildings and buildings to sky skrapers the world became a sea of light. A technological age reigned for years technology far surpasing that of the aliens that descended upon it today. For years it was managed as an empire frome an emperoror and emperess. For centuries there was no quarel all matters resolved with diplomacy and reason. As time continued however a plague came to be a plague that slowly worked to infect all of the kingdom. It caried positive side effect as well though. Because of these ongoing benefits man wished for its usage and thus turned to finding a balance. In the same women fought and worked to develop a cure. Dystorais was the start of  the split, from here altering views on everything began to develop.  Soon what was a rift became a chasm a great divide that would last for the rest of time least of the time that had passed.

Dystorais had lasted war after war no trouble. Man came time after time to be fought off technology was superior. Combating man had been a tug and pull relationship for centuries possibly longer. Today however that all changed as Dystorais said to Lysandar she could not combat both conflicts. She aided the deffence of the city though not even the women knew it the very city was their guardian. Fighting  both the alien combatants known as humans and the men her deffences fell. A man who talked with the cities came and was denied aid. In his pain and frustration the city quaked and fell, In Dystorais last moments she reached out to the witch that reliable alien a final time. This story and that of the entire planet was fed to the woman its functions its technology flooded her brain like a computer uploading data. "Salen Hexona Roxom I could not continue. Man as cold and destructive as he is finaly breached my walls and so I give you my final gift." Course Dystorais chose her she was of another world she hated humanity longed to one day see it wiped from this earth. As such she had a bond with the city. Alchemy faded and the familiar presence of her brain came back to normal. She could feel the alterations though, that essence of what was originally to be a trick became permanent. In her final moment Dystorais made the blessing permanent she called out one final thing "revenge."

Many see Salem as one of two things. She is either the child who comes across as a know it all. Or she is perceived as a promising witch and alchemist. In truth she is both and as much as the seventeen year old was fascinated by her blessing she quickly fell into being perplexed by the other fight that came to an end. The King of the Vine was a flood of epic duals but today featured one that would last for years. If not by the spectators that were blowing up the phones with bets then by the simple scale of the dual she witnessed. Kaligar was a spell caster of the most highly apraised level, she was aware of this. Using her given telepethy she was even now studing those factors. In the future they could be worked on more, she was going to need something to pass time after this tournament what beter than spells. Any one who knew him could testify his prowless on the field. The ultimant predator was the equivalent of who he was. The dragon kin however faced one of the few beings who could combat him on fair level. Overkill self proclaimed mightiest mortal had matched him for quite awhile. In retrospect she would likely kick herself for idolizing a human. Even if he was more than one Peter chose to label himself a mortal tied to the restrictive sertain to die humans. Today though she put aside her hate on humanity for it could atleast present some virtue. Salem would say no more on the topic than this, she had given her highest regards possible in her head. It was time to get back to reality.

That's when the real fighting began her psychic abilities could help her get a bead on her target. It had little effect however, she wasn't to surprised. Mercenary was a combatant of long reknown of course he had a deffensive against such a thing. Her vectors hit home but not fatal he was swift he could muster a defensive and could recover quickly. This was further proven by his wave of attacks that followed. She stoped the palm aimed at her colar with a vector no problem, that was only the begining however. A puff of smoke and the killer was behind her instinctivly a vector went to shield her spine and skull. The invisible hand caught the palm strike the explosives were unavoidable however. There was no exact explosion however he was smarter than that. While the vector absorbed most the blast she still could feel the burns on her back as well as saw some of her hair fall to be blown in the wind. He burned her hair this ass had to pay.

His flurry wasn't done yet though. A kick soon came which she was able to quickly step over just as agile and fast as they had come. Her third vector going down to halt the sweeping blade. Another puff of smoke and a knee was coming to her chest she was just barely able to catch it with the last vector. The blow still caried through and punched her in the gut. It wasn't excruciating but it did come with a fair amount of pain. Then geting distance a small cube came to his hand unfolding into a formidable weapon. The cliche line however made ententions all to clear. That was the one down fall by anouncing it she could make a defensive the first detonated as her vectors caught it the blast scorching her clothing black. The blast pushed her back and her foot taped the ground cement coming on to shield against the second. Then came the third her telekinesis caught it another tap and a column bursted from the earth to touch the tip and detonate the weapon. The blast just in time to engulf the fourth causing it to explode. Thankfully though her deffenses were runing low the final shock wave of Overkill and Kaligar's dual caught up to them. The shockwave trigered the final burst premature. Not by much just enough for her to save herself. The final explosion throwing her back several feet as her vectors made a cacoon.

salem stumbled to her feet regaining her composure. There was no question that  Mercenary had prowless, only the training from her mother saved her. That was the story behind a good fight though, the one with the most skill was undoubtably the victor something she felt confidant she could obtain. Alchemy turns the world into her weapon and years had been speant in effort of mastering its use. That said the plan formulated in her head the strategy she would take, executed with devine retaliation. The near invisible limbs slamed into the ground releasing a see of spikes around Hex as a defensive manuever. With that she pushed off the platau they stood upon launching herself into the skies above. It might of seamed like a retreat however if one looked to the skies more closely they might of seen the mate black air ship coming in. Her vectors grabing hold of the platform troopers normally leapt from and propeling her into the vesel. Six women sat at first dumbfounded by what had just transpired. There black uniforms and high calibur weapons conflicting with the less than composed looks upon their face. A swift use of telepathy however and the beautiful women were all to compliant. The hostess known to the spectators as Ruby wouldn't use them for calvary though. That was unsportsman like, rather she just wanted their toys. Four of which were straped to her back taken from the women above. Her vectors were construct of her mind the added weapons and armor wouldn't slow them down.

A minutes maybe two at max fade away and a redesigned version of the power armor leaps from the opening. Rapidly it desends to the platforms below as gravity takes effect. Hex had redesigned the mech to suit herself. Having the knowledge of this world and the Symarian Imperium at her disposal it was no challenge bending the machine. Formulating it into a suit of armor only she could use the power core dampend as all the unecesary components were striped. Alchemy used to forge these components into more practical things such as resevours for her alchemy to pass through without weakening the composure. The results being alchemy still at its prestine condition the silver metal that showed resembling the tatoos across her skin. The blast shield and visor of the helmet stood how it was, no need in tampering with such effective resources. The teenaged witch did however tamper with the apearence a bit giving the plexiglass a bit more of a see through apearence where her face was. Her crimson eyes almost seaming to glow beneath the frame.

Her pray knew well what he was doing and had the resources he needed to break this armor she was sure. It would serve as a shield though from those harmful assaults, she wasn't like him a lost leg would mean bleeding out.  Her role on a battlefield was vengeance and war not so much machine. The diffrence was very seldom though the main divide was in the designs purpose of offence over defence it was a layer of protection and a extra weapon not tank armor. If she had to compare it to anything it would be the scout suit of the Tau that Warsman everyonce and awhile encountered in serving Symar. Landing the ground shaters on impact nearly as soon as her feat touch granite shes kicked off and launched herself at the master of death. "This is for f-cking up my hair."

Twirling in the air her left leg aims for her targets skull alchemy tracing through her heal so that if she strikes the mater touched might turn to acid. Landing on her left she would spin yet again this time with her right generating fire. The purpose being that even if Mercenary could generate a new leg it would be limited his suport was on the other leg, kick it with a metal boot and burn it mobility is lost. And one of the worst places to be in a fight was on your back laying on the ground. She followed her 360 spin with an upercut from her left hand. Coursing with an electric kurrent her logic dictated it would shut the brain down or make it seize up atleast. To finish off her chain of attacks she would leap back her vectors snaping to generate four torents of flame as a offensive styled deffence. On her right hand was a chain gun snaping into place she released a storm of bullets through the wall trying to use her psychic abilities to give her a bead on his location. Much like the bolters her family used this gun fired 75 calibur explosive rounds. Added to this though was a plasmic charge. In most fights on this world it would scorch trough armor then detonate. The result was puncturing tanks and blowing up like miniture gernades on the inside or worse when it hit people, burning through armor and then entering flesh before going off. Should this hit or miss she still had her vectors to recoil into a deffensive.

Mercenary had lived to his legend like roots when he landed this was only reconfirmed by the responce and reaction to her attack. As expected the bringer of death avoided the coming fist. Her knuckles striking the ground and making blades erupt from the earth the effects managed to be  devastating. As her vectors caught Mercenary in a vice like grip spikes shattered bones in his leg. He was to cuning to be removed from the game by such, he had managed to slice through the spikes to avoid lethal side effects. Then before he made his attack he made the most astounding of moves.

Mercenary cut off his leg, just slash and he's bouncing about one footed. Forget the wounds he simply shruged it off, maybe his mutations originated from a flamingo. There was only one thing to disrupt her excitement from the move. No blood, gore didn't spill how boring what was the point in such a thing? Sure the attack was nice but through out it all she pondered on the boring nature of this limb and lack of gore.  The attack was sound in response starting first with a quick sweep towards her back. The blade from what she saw in the first round was to much trouble to try and transmute. Not that she couldn't because she studied constantly to know about the elements and chemicals of the world. It was designed to fight electric and magnetic forces however it was safe to say she couldn't get promising results. She resorted to the alternative, her vectors needed to be used as a means to counter coming attacks she would have to use alchemy as a shield.

A wall forged of the concrete at her feet rose in a spherical formation designed to shield her. The blade cleaved through such baricades and dug into flesh. While the sphere shielded her from the major blow the weapon still bit skin, if the city didn't serve her as well as it had that small gash on her back would have been the severing of her spine. Of course this was just a single move of his fierce barage. As quick as they lashed out the acused witch couldn't tell if the offensive was physical or cybernetic in nature. Her vectors instinctively blocked it, they had been scratched earlier by the blade but such limbs were not effected by the blade. When the fists colided with the unseen limbs Hex was pushed backwards. The perfect opening for the final move, which in hindsight was not the wisest at least in her opinion. Electrical tendrils came from his hands lashing towards her, aimed to insnare her, electricity coursing through.

"Good reasoning" was the words that came from her small voice. The seventeen year old winking almost flirtatiously at her statment towards the remark. The whips coiled around her and surely if she let them continue to hold tight it would hurt. Perhaps she would of convulsed and dropped just like that. Kurent and Overkill seamed like they might turn to such a tactic, she hoped to hell her contestants were more creative than that. To break the hold Hex had two means to resort to. She knew it would get her free, how effective it proved to be offensivly however was to be seen.  First came the unseen limbs that useing there unnatural strength would push the coils away. Hopefully the metalic serpents would shatter from the force aplied. As she pushed away the vectors called upon her primary asset of alchemy. Twisting the metal into brittle steel so that any movement would lead to it falling apart. It was hard to say if the epic assassin had a resistance to it. The primary reason however was simply to allow Salem to move into position for the colaborative attack.

It started with Overkill a massive force of concussive energy shattered the field glass fell like rain and towers rumbled. Though the sound of canon fire creaking walls and the grinding of metal flooded her ears she could hear the cheers of the crowd. They were on the field of conflict yes but all of this was a spectacle and in the eyes of the public the curent contestants had rosen to over whelming status. Like gods of the arena. As if things were not hightened enough the pain of Orchid resulted in the most fierce of motions.  Towers fell and streets shattered asuming she caught glimpses of the fight like she thought the city was resisting him, the devastation served it right. As the city attacked the opponents like a tidal wave of concrete. Then like a whisper she heard Orchid's plee, amongst the symphony of ruin one could barely hear it but by the grace of chaos she made it out.  In a sequence of acrobotic leaps she managed to make it to her team mate only barely missing the city manipulators assault.

Swiping her finger across the fresh cut from before she touched the seal. Thrusting her hand into a piece of glass that burried its self into her palm. Fresh blood marked that skull helm changed it to mark the man beneath. Feral violent rejuvinated by the blood of his prey, a simple paint job it might of looked like but it served as so much more. The blood twisted by alchemy made blood cells highten advancing healing for a moment. It might not be perfect but the manipulator of cities could now continue unhindered. The blood also served as a similar transfusion like that in the previous match. Orchid's atributes began to mold with hers and thus came a wave of psychic force. The city in agonized gasps talked to her. Despite the pain however her words were clear and crystalin in texture. So soft and serene even in the calamity taking place.  "I get it. I really do. You all long for the fame and fortune to build a city like this one. You might kill all in your path, scorch the world, twist your body, bend the weak to your talons grasp, move cities or even comand the world to get it. Nothing will tie your desire to reach for the hevans and build a city of gold. As the one woman pure and wise in this domain allow me to brighten youre knowledge." As the soft words echoed in her mind she could feal her minds reach glow. She could feal the presence of every fading life near by and the elements around her.  Soon enough she was contemplating the next act. The third set of the teams wide massive attacks.

The field flooded rain lifting pieces of debree and turning the location black. Oil flooded the water turned it a sickening color. As the ground rose creating a sequence of metal and stone pillars for the ongoing fights Salem figured out what best to do. Using the chants and shout based spells of his kind her father had done this. Some elements however hold no sway over the chemicals of the world. Water has no bind on some things and Hex knew what such was using telekenisis granted by the city she lifted a sheet of earth the black water flowing as the ground rose and only glass remained. Orchid was lifted with her, his actions were his own she simply wanted him out of the way of the pending harm. In a downward jab with all of her vectors the circular platform of earth would shatter. Her hand coming down at the same instant striking one of the fractured rocks. As the ground shattered she altered the chemical balance twisting the earth into white phosphorus. To douse such a burn one had to eliminate all source of oxygen.

The water below might if it kept at such a constant downpoor but even then it might be nulified by the fuel that would more likely encourage it than kill the oxygen flow. Orchid and herself were descending behind it and as such they were clear, and of course energy could allow Peter to shield himself. Mercenary Gearo and Kaligar were not so fortunant. If she calculated right Gearo would be fine till one landed in his exposed circuitry and could carry an effect over into the functionality. Mercenary was still flesh and skin was such a weak resiliance to the flesh burning chemical. The one she was most curious of however was Kaligar, assuming his scales still counted as a type of bone or tisue the burn would likely be longer endured. Why couldn't she be so blessed as to have one of his kin for a test subject? Decending from the skies and landing on the platform she finished off her moves with a wave of psychic force towards the remaining contestants. Gearo was pointless to attack with a psychic onslought the other two however were not. Her hope was that lash at the nervous system and mind would stun enough for critical blows. Her four vectors consistantly sharp and strong aimed to pulverise the master swordsman's ribs. Each vector aimed at a difrent portion to avoid as much chance of blocking as possible. The apendages could then be used to block if needed. Against such a legend Hex needed to keep a deffensive available.

She rolled her eyes in anoyance and placed the gun in her lap before continuig to daw. "Andpeople wonder why I say we sould burn the world? Humans are filled with people lke this kid." She was muttering to herself but she didn't make an effort to keephe voice low. Worst case senario the anoyance just left it at that and walked away. Hex was fine with that, granted violence was a funner method.

"well thnks B good to know im aloud to do what I want" she mocked in amusement. A tap of her finger and the symbol vanished in a flash of light.a small fire arm formed from where the mark once was. "Warren may I make a sugestion? Before you pounce on the people aound you thin who they are. This is ou home, our base, and subsequently it is run by our rules, its unwise to continue." Her voice was viod and soft. It lacked any bite as Salem tuthfullydidn't care what happend to the kid.

Conditions are one it has to be on this alien planet and two its got to be in the middle of a warzone. Other than that anyone can make hat they will of their suroundings. I wanted to put the fight some where new that was open to creative ideas. The tone of setting is everything in a fight I wanted the writers to be free to play with such.(granted it should make sence the seting sholdnt magicly go from ocean to dessert :P)

She really did't care what anyone was talking about or doing. Rather the rub eyed demonic child sat in the middle of the floor. The teen held a container filled with blod and began drawing on the floor. The etching little more than a bizare design to anyone oblivious to alchemy.

dont faint you fool :P first to post gets to decide the basic warzone there in lol.

Its true by the way, long as its on the mentioned planet thats at war its good. The people uning this tournament dont fear that you can rig things in your favor cheeply when on a distant world
