I love this issue, Killer Croc has like the basic spider-man syndrome, he can never catch a break. He's constantly treated like a monster and it's not really his fault, he was born that way. It's kind of like the grinch where he just needs a chance. Obviously he's not a mindless beast, he's simplistic. You show him kindness and he'll return the favor. He hasn't had that in kindness in his life and it shows him actually thinking maybe somebody cares about him. I dont agree with the review when it comes to the expression of " Did croc actually care for her, because it wasn't expressed as a beauty and the best tale." I find that croc cared for her because she talked to him and wasn't really nervouse or jumpy or uneasy around him. It was kind of heartbreaking for me as a reader to see Croc actually has someone who cares if he exists, even though you knew it had to end, and then watch him give up hope of possibly fitting in. I mean the dude is a giant crocodile and has had a hard time his entire life. It was like watching the man's soul go down like the titanic. Poor Crocky! (hehe Crocky, such a corny Robin volume)
