I love this issue, Killer Croc has like the basic spider-man syndrome, he can never catch a break. He's constantly treated like a monster and it's not really his fault, he was born that way. It's kind of like the grinch where he just needs a chance. Obviously he's not a mindless beast, he's simplistic. You show him kindness and he'll return the favor. He hasn't had that in kindness in his life and it shows him actually thinking maybe somebody cares about him. I dont agree with the review when it comes to the expression of "  Did croc actually care for her, because it wasn't expressed as a beauty and the best tale." I find that croc cared for her because she talked to him and wasn't really nervouse or jumpy or uneasy around him. It was kind of heartbreaking for me as a reader to see Croc actually has someone who cares if he exists, even though you knew it had to end, and then watch him give up hope of possibly fitting in. I mean the dude is a giant crocodile and has had a hard time his entire life. It was like watching the man's soul go down like the titanic. Poor Crocky! (hehe Crocky, such a corny Robin volume)

I think it should be Black Mask, he's a very dark figure. I would say he can up the Joker Heath portrayed, The Joker's reasoning for the madness was just to have madness. Black Mask wants power and doesn't give 2 craps about taking a life. Both Maroni and Falcone are out of the picture, Gotham needs a new boss.

Zsasz, he's been in both movies. Being a bats fan, i've noticed over the years in the books, Batvillains will do what they do best for a price. Zsasz takes joy in murdering, he has an itch to put a new scratch on his body. Getting paid is a bonus. Mask and his new rise to power can supply Z what he needs to cure the itch.

I hate to tell all you penguin fans but Nolan did an interview that was featured in esquire (not enquire) and said he doesn't want to do the Penguin. He told them the penguin would be hard to fit into his "real" take on Bats
