Heat is an ally of a pyrokinetic race, hotness is a habitat for an emrysian. The area centralized around Arius is filled with immense waves of high temperatures. Using the ambient environment set by his opponent, the little one used one of his faculties of flame control and a handy dose of telekinesis to emulate the effects of a Thermobaric weapon. Since his opponent seems to be a well rounded metahuman the definition on non-lethal weaponry shifts a bit. The technoque makes a huge pressure wave which effectively sucks the air out of the lungs of anyone unfortunate enough to be within range. Which means that the metal man's conventional method of holding his breath will be rendered moot, knowing he is a strong man this will probably 'only' knock him out.
