  1. Specimen 236: Synthoid, artificial life-form much stronger and faster than, and virtually indistinguishable from, real human beings. 人造人間, or jinzouningen (man made)
  2. Radix: Bioroid (lab-grown biological android/genetically engineered human), an android that is either mostly or completely biological. As a machine, Radix do not age, although he still require rest and maintenance to remain functional. Originally created for a breed of genetically engineered human slaves. 人造人間, or jinzouningen (artificial)
  3. Fowler: Re-Cyborg, a mix of inorganic and organic an automatic feedback system. A machine being whose body has been taken over in whole or in part by implanted/integrated humanoid devices and prosthetics such as bio arms. 改造人間, or kaizouningen (cyborg)
  4. Peregrine: Android, independent automaton and human like; just a robot that feels like a human. 人造人間, or jinzouningen (mechanical man)

All of them with complete free will and thought processes comparable to that of humans. For all intents and purposes, Rumblemen are the same as humans on a mental level; they think and feel, giving them the ability to make their own decisions and develop unique personalities. They stand out for their completely varied appearance, and they usually possess skills and weapons not available to ordinary Robots. Rumblemen are infamous for their seemingly miraculous ability to return to life after being destroyed, even without the components they had been created with.They are also proficient at combat with a variety of weapons.

His combat style exploits the various abilities that characterize humanoid robots, such as faster reflexes and superhuman strength. In particular, it takes advantage of the fact that the brain controlling the mechanical body is capable of blocking pain. Self-mutilation is thus a viable option during a confrontation (although clearly as a last resort), and retaliation can take place even after severe body damage, such as loss of limbs. His style encompasses a series of sophisticated fighting maneuvers. Note that these skills do not necessarily depend on the machine's physical body, they are knowledge engraved within the psyche. His style also provides a definite tactical advantage, since it gives it's user the ability to analyze an opponent's fighting style and to retaliate accordingly. Rumble men will therefore rarely be defeated in a second combat with a given enemy.

Their desire to continue to live (eudaemonia) can take many forms, for Radix its is the desire to create, for Peregrine it is the desire to learn, and as for Fowler it is the desire to fight.

The Fridays are all autopotent: they have complete power over and knowledge of itself. They will easily obtain self-knowledge, and they might also obtain self-power (through their own cunningness).

General Physiology that may or may not include

  • Electronic brain that enables the functions of an advanced computer (Radix uses it, Peregrine prefers to 'learn' and Fowler only uses it for combat applications), thus making them immune to any mental or emotional interference (except from technopaths, goddamn technopaths that deserve to die.).
  • Mechanical body that lacks the need (or ability) to eat, sleep or breathe. (Peregrine, Fowler likes to eat and Radix gets hungry)
  • Sensory receiver that mimics a human's nervous system, to prevent from repeating self injury. This can be turned off, (Radix has one, Fowler uses it but does not really care, while Peregrine does not have it)
  • Designed to be as lifelike as possible. (Ditto for Radix, not so much for his offspring but at least Fowler tries)
  • Complex learning system and emotional capabilities (All three possess these qualities) - The more time they spends around people, the more they knows and the more they will feel, making them seem less and less robotic over time.
  • Wireless transmissions including internet, radio receiver and bluetooth. (reserved for the people of Tritonia)
  • Numerous ports, cables and jacks. (reserved for the people of Tritonia)
  • Several storage compartments in various locations. (Peregrine)
  • It is unable to feel pain, and is unable to suffer the troubles of poisoning or bleeding. (Peregrine, Fowler allows himself to be hurt to enjoy the meaning of life, while Radix is susceptible)
  • It also lacks the pressure points of humans and is unable to be paralyzed in the same ways as humans. (Peregrine, Fowler is just resistant, while radix is not)

By default their brains are fitted with a human emotional responses. This not only let them feel fear but experience instinctive behaviour such as feeling as they were drowning if submerged in water, even though they didn’t need to breath.

One of the dangers that can threaten the existence of his kind is the electromagnetic pulse, or EMP. While a blast of radiation might not do anything to properly protected meat-bags, it would “fry” anything electronic: laptops, sensors, our highly computerized planes, even a simple cell phone. A weapon that doesn’t kill a single person could still destroy technology (AKA machines). To counter that threat, the Fridays implement Radiation-Hardened technology for the hardening of microelectronic technology against radiation effects.

As standard precaution all Fridays possess ElectroMagnetic Compatibility (EMC), The ability of an electronic device to deal with electromagnetic interference and function properly. Radix has developed technology for hardening critical electronic systems and infrastructures against electromagnetic threats across the frequency spectrum from the various forms of the electromagnetic spectrum to the various environments of electromagnetic spectrum (EM) (non-nuclear and nuclear) to include nuclear electromagnetic pulse (EMP) and high power microwaves (HPM). The techniques are applicable over a broad frequency range covering both EMP and HPM spectrums. In the area of nuclear EMP, it is has conductive protection devices that cover the early time (E1), mid time (E2), and late time (E3) threat environments with one compact unit. In HPM, methods to protect the electronics directly (similar to radiation hardening electronics) would be of significant interest.

Aftermath: After this grueling battle in which Fowler fought an new yet very predictable element that struck down the bioborg in mid fight, this was unacceptable and if such things continue on then battles will stop before the became 'fun' so with that in mind he told Radix which in turn implemented...

Antimagnets

Taking the design from an latin technology built in the late 2000's for a formula that can can nullify the magnetic field, This device is capable of blocking any type of magnetic field. The antimagnet will make it possible for those with pacemakers to undergo magnetic resonances and to control the magnetic fields of technological devices.

It covers two objectives. First, an object's magnetic field will not penetrate the exterior once it is covered by the antimagnet. Second, everything cloaked by the antimagnet will be protected from external magnetic fields and the object inside will be undetectable.

The design is based on overlapping layers of materials with different magnetic properties, forming what is known as a metamaterial. The device consists of an internal superconductor layer covered by several layers of ferromagnetic material, separated by air or other materials which do not have magnetic properties.

With this formula, the antimagnet can have different shapes and can block out practically the totality of the magnetic field even if it is not fully closed. Thus the design can be applied to those cases in which the area needing protection by the antimagnet cannot be fully closed off. An example of this would be the blocking of a pacemaker or of a cochlear implant in a patient who needs to undergo a magnetic resonance.

Magnetism is a key element in science and technology; for example, 99 per cent of the energy we consume is generated thanks to the magnetic fields generated by the turbines found in thermal power stations, nuclear and aeolian plants, etc. Scientists are perfectly familiar with the process of creating magnetism. However, the process of 'switching it off' at will is not known. This is a new possibility which appears thanks to the antimagnet.
