Posted by Rumble Man

@ComicMan24: Not yet

Posted by ComicMan24

@Rumble Man: Planning on making some then?

Posted by Rumble Man

@ComicMan24: maybe later

Posted by ComicMan24

@Rumble Man: Are you an RPGer?

Posted by Rumble Man

@ComicMan24: Yeah, but I go to off topic every now and then (hot girl and mma thread)

Posted by ComicMan24

@Rumble Man: I see. How long have you been RPGing?

Posted by Rumble Man

@ComicMan24: started somewhere in july this year

Posted by ComicMan24

@Rumble Man: And how long have you been on CV?

Posted by Rumble Man

@ComicMan24: just lurking on the battles, got involved recently

Posted by ComicMan24

@Rumble Man: I take it that you must be here for a while considering your username.

Posted by Rumble Man

@ComicMan24: Uh huh, but mostly just reading

Posted by ComicMan24

@Rumble Man: Origin of username?

Posted by Rumble Man

@ComicMan24: megaman fan , all the bosses have an ... Man naming and rumble comes from rockem sockem

Posted by ComicMan24

@Rumble Man: Yeah, I am familiar with it, even though I have mostly checked the Battle Network adaptation.

What do you think of Megaman Battle Network btw?

Posted by Rumble Man

@ComicMan24: played it a while back , the chips a rad and the cyberspace themes are very nice

Posted by ComicMan24

@Rumble Man: Which one did you play?

And have you checked any of the anime series?

Posted by Rumble Man

@ComicMan24: the first on advance, yes I did and sharkman is my fave next to skullman exe

Posted by ComicMan24

@Rumble Man: I have only played the fifth, the Team Colonel version. But I liked it.

Sharkman was cool. Which of the anime series have you checked?

Posted by Rumble Man

@ComicMan24: I'd say a lot, currently watching new version of HxH

FMA and Bebop happen to be some of my faves

Posted by ComicMan24

@Rumble Man: You mean Hunter x Hunter? Haven't seen that one.

Those were good ones. Have you seen both FMA series or just Brotherhood?

Posted by Rumble Man

@ComicMan24: yeah that one

To be frank I prefer 2003 FMA compared to the new one

Posted by ComicMan24

@Rumble Man: This is something I don't see many people saying. Tbh I think that the first series did some things better than Brotherhood. Brotherhood was more blockbustery while the first was darker which I liked.

Superman or Batman?

Posted by Rumble Man

@ComicMan24: It reflects on the gulf war well and has nazi undertones with the fuhrer, the scene with nina and tucker is particularly unsettling as well. Plus scar who is my fave died in a great way.

Superman, I prefer his ideals

(I started into comics from TAS batman and old 90's spiderman along with donald duck)

Posted by ComicMan24

@Rumble Man: Tucker was so creepy in the first anime (they did away with him fast in the second one). And that thing with his daughter was so sad.

Hell yeah!!! Finally, someone who prefers Superman lol Everybody else I have asked that has said Batman.

Posted by Rumble Man

@ComicMan24: Hence why I liked scar for mercy killing her to end her suffering, envy was a beast in that one. No weird ass transformations needed, and in the brotherhood anime everybody gained a few pounds.

Given the two I prefer superman, I liked batman because his villains mainly (recently James Gordon Jr). Not a big fan of the joker, but actually I prefer reading Secret Six (Pre Nu), Flash and GL , my fave villain used to be Freeze but now I like the rogues.

Posted by ComicMan24

@Rumble Man: Tbh I kinda liked Mustang being the killer of Winry's parents more than Scar. It was creating more tension with him being the killer rather than some stranger. Was never really a big fan of Envy although his suicide scene in Brotherhood was touching. And Lust was much better in the first one, they turned her into a b!tch in the second. But her death scene with Mustang killing her was awesome.

I like Batman, I just find him overrated.

Favourite comic book atm?

Posted by Rumble Man

@ComicMan24: They dynamic between scar and kimbley was better explored in the first one, the whole ethnic cleansing aspect weighs more in the first anime. The blood and the gore compliment the grimdark feel of it, scar's alchemy looked better in red electric arcs (blue makes it more neutral).

I like batman, but not with popularity as a superpower

In terms of comics I am just reading DCnU particularly flash and JLA ( but now mostly reading old sci fi novels)

Posted by ComicMan24

@Rumble Man: I can agree with that.

lol And it's one annoying superpower.

Favourite Flash?

Posted by Rumble Man

@ComicMan24:

in his city he got tossed around by batbane but in JLA he is suddenly superman lite

wally because that fight with zolomon hunter

Tell me about it lol

Thumbs up for liking Wally :)

Did any of the characters you like disappear after the reboot?

Posted by Rumble Man

@ComicMan24:

I miss my catman and ragdoll secret six, and JLA without MM is just like christmas without presents

Posted by ComicMan24

@Rumble Man: You an MM fan?

Posted by Rumble Man

@ComicMan24: JLA animated and unlimited made me a Jones fan, always had a thing for non humans

Posted by ComicMan24

@Rumble Man: Did you check his appearances in Stormwatch?

Posted by Rumble Man

@ComicMan24: Fan of WSU in general but DCnU stormwatch was kinda wonky

Posted by ComicMan24

@Rumble Man: Can agree with that even though my biggest issue with it was the art since I hadn't read any WS in the past.

Happy that WS is now part of the DCnU?

Posted by Rumble Man

@ComicMan24: Yeah, I was surprised and glad when supes got backhanded to the moon by Helspont

Midnighter has yet to pull his style but time will tell

Posted by ComicMan24

@Rumble Man: What about Grifter, Zealot and the other WS characters?

Posted by Rumble Man

@ComicMan24: Just waiting for Majestic actually

reminds me of oldboy
Posted by ComicMan24

@Rumble Man: I think he is scheduled to appear. Isn't that right?

Posted by Rumble Man

@ComicMan24: hope so

Posted by ComicMan24

@Rumble Man: What about Marvel? Reading anything from there?

Posted by Rumble Man

@ComicMan24: Was into that but after AVX I decided to give DC a try

Posted by ComicMan24

@Rumble Man: What were you reading from there?

Posted by Rumble Man

@ComicMan24: recently the first JLA hardcover and moving on to flash

Posted by ComicMan24

@Rumble Man: Favourite Marvel characters?

Posted by ssejllenrad

@Rumble Man:

Michael Buffer's "Let's get ready to ruuumblllllllllllllllllllllllllleeeeee!!!!!"

or Bruce Buffer's "Iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit's Tiiiiiiiiiiiiimmmmmeeee!!!!"

Edited by Rumble Man

@ComicMan24: Spiderman, Xmen (when jean was around), Avengers and villains

@ssejllenrad: Michael, his voice is more elegant

Posted by ComicMan24

@Rumble Man: That means that you haven't read any X-Men in a while, am I right?
