@wolverine08: I'm going to read JL's run on GA as soon as I get to month 17 of the New 52. I've been starting to watch Arrow lately, so I can't wait. As for the Arrow comic....I *may or may not* have *possibly* found a loophole in Comixology that got Volume 1 it for free....*maybe.*

And yeah, I'm going to read Infinity #2 tonight. The art seems to have vastly improved, it sort of looks like a slightly lower level Kenneth Rocafort :)

Have you been getting into Jeff Lemire's run on Green Arrrow? It has been pretty awesome! And great job in adding Infinity. It has been marvelous *Pun intended*

@wolverine08: Yeah, while that book made Daredevil my favorite Marvel character (even though that's not saying much), it was just too indie for me to really enjoy. That, however, sounds really awesome. If it's on Comixology, I'll put in on my Post-52 list. I'll look into Logan, too. Thanks for the suggestions!

In other edit related news: Added: Arrow #3-8, Infinity #1-2, Infinity: Against The Tide #1.

@rulerofthisuniverse:

Sorry I got back to you so late because I seriously just got this message! LOL. Regarding Daredevil, your complaint is something that has been noted among loyal DD fans, his current series by Mark Waid is a bit too indie. Before Waid's Daredevil, DD's stories primarily took place in a gritty, noir filled setting, and I think for someone who loves Batman so much like you, you would extremely drawn to how DD is usually written. Check out Brian Michael Bendis' phenomenal Daredevil run from the mid 2000s. It's current enough that I think you'll be able to get it digitally.

Yeah, you would probably have benefitted from Origin more if you had read some more Wolverine stuff before, but since you have already read it, I'd recommend you check out "Logan" by Brian K. Vaughn

Hope my advice is useful :D

@madeinbangladesh: Definitely, it's really awesome. And I'm mostly a DC guy, but I've been thinking about trying Valiant lately.

@battle_forum_junkie: Lower than Aquaman Volume 2, but higher than Aquaman Volume 1. I LOVED Aquaman Volume 2...

Nah, I buy them digitally in single issues. But it was jut so much easier to do it by volume instead of single issues or series.

Awesome list. Def gotta check out Hush sometime soon. Needs more Marvel though. ALso you should read some Vertigo, Image, Dark Horse and IDW series like Y The Last Man, Sandman, Preacher, Locke and Key, and Many more. Also try Valiant.

You rated Batman: Year One lower than Aquaman?! BLASPH-- Oh, yeah. Sorry about that...

Anyway, cool list. So, you only buy trades then - No single issues?

@batmannflash: That's 6, 3 issue series, two of which is only one issue (14 issues altogether). It just looks like a lot when you write "Flashpoint-" in front of them all :P

Also, these are just stuff I'd want to get eventually. I don't plan on getting any of those Flashpoint minis anytime soon. As for the rest of it...most of the list is just what you get massive deals on when you would buy them in volumes on Comixology :)

@rulerofthisuniverse: oh I've honestly haven't read most of these. I've read Flashpoint, Batman: Knight of Vengeance, Emperor Aquaman, and Superman: Birthright.

Most of your list are the Flashpoint series. Are you sure all of those are worth reading?

@batmannflash: I just edited it, it's 11 now. But I also really want to add 6 or so series, so it's going to add up fast. But I have a rather small comic budget.

Right now, the list is:

Superman: Birthright, Penguin: Pain and Prejudice, Superman: Last Son of Krypton, Batman: Dark Victory, Superman: For Tomorrow, Flashpoint, Flashpoint- Batman: Knight of Vengeance, Flashpoint- Emperor Aquaman, Flashpoint- Wonder Woman and the Furies, Flashpoint- Grodd of War, Flashpoint- Reverse Flash, Flashpoint- Deadman and the Flying Graysons, The Question (2005), and now GJ/FM Flash. Though I add more practically every day.

@rulerofthisuniverse: alright cool, dude. Let me know what you think!

But your pull-list is only 9. Or has it increased a lot over the last month? haha

I too started reading comics with the New 52. I started with: Batman, Aquaman, Flash, Wonder Woman, and Green Lantern. And from there I branched off to more and more series and went back to Pre 52

I'm interested in knowing what notable stories are on your Pre-52 list?

@batmannflash: Damn....how have I never heard of that...? Anyway, it's definitely added to my "Pre-52 want stuff" list (yes, I literally have made a list of all the Pre-52 stuff I want...I'm such a nerd)

Yeah, I might try that. Honestly, I have way too many New 52 series I'm buying right now, but if my list ever shortens down I'll try that out.

@rulerofthisuniverse: Yes, right here.

Yeah Geoff Johns' GL is long but honestly you don't need to read anything Pre 52 yet. What I did was I first read the New 52 GL series (with a little background info, courtesy of wikipedia) and I was fine. Then I went back to read the main titles for Blackest Night, Sinestro Corps War, and Rage of the Red Lanterns. Then I read Geoff John's main Pre-52 GL series.

@batmannflash: GEOFF JOHNS AND FRANCIS MANAPUL TOGETHER ON A FLASH BOOK AND I'VE NEVER HEARD OF IT?!? HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE?!?

And yeah, the whole decade-long bit of GJ GL is a bit off-putting to try to catch up with, especially with me still not being caught up with the New 52...

@rulerofthisuniverse: My Favorite Flash Stories. Yeah definitely read Flashpoint and read his 12-issue series that came right before Flashpoint. Same art as the New 52 series, except with Geoff Johns writing (and he does a fantastic job).

Also, I see that you haven't read any Green Lantern stories. Maybe you should read John's run! :)

@batmannflash: Yeah, I never really cared about Flash until the good people of CV recommended the New 52 series and I realized what I was missing. I plan on getting Flashpoint and some Flashpoint mini-series soon, though :)

@wolverine08: I did read them, but didn't really buy them (I didn't get them online...I only have done that for All-Star: Batman and Robin:TBW, just to see how bad it was). I really liked Daredevil, but not enough to actually buy it. It was a bit too artistic/indie style for my taste, if you understand what I'm saying. I also liked Origin, but felt that I would've enjoyed it more if i had read some Wolverine stuff previous to that. It was an ok-written book, but I believe the draw was finally being able to understand Wolverine's origin, which doesn't really work if you haven't read Wolverine stuff. :P

Sweet list! But you really read Wolverine:Origin by Paul Jenkins, and Daredevil by Mark Waid? I thought you didn't read anything from Marvel, lol. Did you like them?
