I did. I live in Mexico City and our comic prices are usually not so distant form the actual U.S prices. However my local comic shop (also the closest in freakin miles) tweeted that prices of the issue had went up because of the demand. I called them and they wouln't give me the price of the book. I'M SCARED AND I WANT THIS ISSUE!!! AAAGH!!!

Anyway.

Did any of you had any problems finding or buying the landmark issue?

I am hoping for Hickman to make the best out of the casualty's sacrifice, great video guys. You should read my review of #587 =D (I think its the first one out there) completely spoiler free. Cheers.

I thought the choice was perfect. If you haven't read the current Fantastic Four run (written by Jonathan Hickman) please do so, it is great and really gave away clues in every issue about the "casualty's" identity so it came as no surprise really.

This looks nothing like the multiple Jean Gray deaths, read the issue and the whole arc before misjudging the book, I think he's gonna stay dead for a while.

Hey guys! I had no idea where to put this thread so I decided to throw it in here. I am here today scouting so to speak for an artist interested on working in an indie comicbook that will get published digitally. It will be free of charge and free to download (to get it out there), it's a detective story and it is called HARD BOILED. I wrote a couple of outlines for exactly four issues so far and am in the process of finishing my second draft for the first issue. I have a lot of ideas regarding the visual style of the book but I'm open to changing the whole thing to suit an artist's strengths and weaknesses and of course his style. There will be no pay for anyone involved in the project (at least not right now) but I think it's a good story with some good dialogue and narrative that deserves to be out there.  I describe the story as noir crime fiction thriller with hard boiled private eye themes with a bit of a sci-fi twist in some elements of the plot. The story synopsis is this one:

"Hard Boiled is the story of Detective John Grant. A man who is locked up in a sanatorium by choice as he murdered his family in cold blood when under the influence of mind control. When the police confirm that other mind-control related crimes have appeared they pull him out of retirement only to find out that Detective Grant is now a changed man thirsty for revenge and willing to anything that leads him to the person that destroyed his life, a man known only as: Dr. Macabre."

If you are interested in reading the outline and working with me get in touch. Any comments or any kind of suggestions you might have are also welcome. I am in love with the Comic Vine community and am really excited to show you the project when its done. That's it thanks :D OH Excuse my grammar please, I'm Mexican :d

Even though I was craving for a Geoff Johns written event about The Flash this seems like a Zero Hour ripoff involving the speed force.

I miss Wally written by Geoff and drawn by Scott. I want that back, their run (if you haven't read it yet) is FANTASTIC. I think Barry is cool and all, the new run is pretty great so far BUT we need some more Wally on our lives, I suggest a SECOND series, staring Wally, drawn by Scott Kollins and written by Geoff Johns. That's right we should get a regular Flash with Manapaul and Johns alongside another Flash series (maybe The Fastest Man Alive?) with Johns writing and Scott on art. What do you think, Johns could bring back Zoom and maybe throw in some inertia, maybe a couple of new villains, let's do this DC.

" Oh, Sabretooth is down there in Hell? Yeah, just give me a few seconds to recover from that "shocker".  This does open a question. It was Mystique that sent him there? Should be interesting to see how she managed that gem.

How long do you think it will be before they pull out the Nightcrawler card?

@Decept-O: Are you speaking of that weak groan? "
Nightcrawler was a devoted catholic priest my guess is...HE IS NOT IN HELL. Could be wrong though.
