@Silkcuts:

Well, Bob is back in Atlanta now and Tony is safe in the bosom of his family in Connecticut. LOL!

Savannah MacIntosh is the name of the artist who Bob sees great potential in.

I just spoke to a blogger on the phone who is interviewing me at 4:30PM, so my time is short. I'll post a link to the interview probably some time before Halloween.

@M.S. Feather:

It wasn't long after I posted your cartoon on the Facebook page that the usual suspects showed up to "like" it, Feather!

Thanks again!...GOOD JOB!!!

@The Poet:

I didn't post an article, Poet. I posted a single page of an entire textbook. I WISH I had the time and inclination to read the whole thing. :(

Better yet, it's a movie where two people are sitting next to each other on an airplane. One is sleeping and the other is playing Cat's Cradle. :D

What..The..Hell...

It is so "Twilight Zone" that I am beginning to believe it may be a result of Mr.Burdens "aura" very surreal, creepy even in its unlikelihood.

Tony made me aware of his Fontographer connection quite awhile ago. But the fact that he was the only person who would answer my questions on the phone at Macromedia, wasn't revealed to me until just recently.

You have to bear in mind that Tony was only about 20 years old when Fontographer was connected to my livelihood...and only just tangentially. I'm convinced that no matter how many times we may have spoken on the phone back then, there was nothing in either one of our agendas at the time that would have ever warranted us to ever actually meet in person.

It's like one of those movies where two people bump into each other at an airport...one of them drops something and the other picks it up and hands it over...and they both go their separate ways. And then they meet 20 years later because there is a REAL common emergency. :D

What the Hell???

This is just outright badassery.

You Groundbreaker!!!

If you really want to hear a story straight out of The Twilight Zone, dig this, turok...

I told Bob about it earlier tonight and he almost fell over.

Back during the early 90's when I was creating fonts left and right in Fontographer (the Macintoch font editing program), the tutorial book that I used really sucked. Well, the program was made for editing fonts...not creating them from scratch. Whenever I was catching up with Bob about some new project I was working on, I'd always gripe about how bad it was figuring out how to solve some problem that I was having with Fontographer. And Bob would always say, "Isn't there a phone number you can call to get help?" And I'd always say, "I hate talking to those computer geeks over the phone. Most of the time I have no idea what they are talking about."

Anyway, Fontographer was a Macromedia product with an extremely tiny niche clientele. There were so few people who used the program that Macromedia only needed one tech support guy to handle all the phone calls.

That tech support guy was Tony Dumont. LMAO!

@M.S. Feather:

Do you mean the fan art on http://bburden.servehttp.com/flamingcarrot/, Feather?

Yeah, we need to put your comic strip on the Flaming Carrot fan art page!!!

Unfortunately, I can't remember the "Administrator" password right now. :( ...or maybe I'm not supposed to know it...I can't remember THAT either. LOL! Whenever Tony wants me to do any design work on the site, HE just directs me where to go to open that page and tells me to get on it! XD

The next time I speak to either Tony (or Bob...maybe), I'll ask how I can get your artwork in there. :-)

LMAO!

That's hilarious, Feather! I can't wait to show it to Bob! But first I'm posting it on http://www.facebook.com/BobBurdenComicsTHANKS a million!

I don't care WHAT Tony smokes! (As opposed to Bob, who is always telling him to quit smoking.) Whatever makes Tony happy...makes ME happy. :-) Tony is the hardest working man in show business!!!

LOL! I guess it's to be expected that a certain pee-pee component will be there in everything that comes out of the ground. XD

A few months back my Wikipedia editor, The Poet, discovered that there was something written about me in a TEXTBOOK! This textbook: http://search.barnesandnoble.com/Illuminating-Letters/Paul-C-Gutjahr/e/9781558492882

Since I didn't want to buy a copy of the book just to read one or two pages (and Tony probably wouldn't let me spend money on an indulgence like that anyway), I went to the library to look for a copy. I found out that there wasn't a public library in Atlanta that had a copy...but that all the college and university libraries DID!

I know someone who is currently a student at Georgia State University and he told me that he would go to the library and borrow it for me today . So later on, I should be able to take look at that entry. This ought to be interesting. :-)
