Ray lives on the upper West Side, turok...my old neighborhood. Tony should be picking up Ray RIGHT NOW! I just tried calling Ray and his phone went to voice mail.
Mostly still no power here I am one of few that have it in my area., many in high rise buildings in city are are suffering and lots of sea water in subway etc. Coastal areas are ruined.
I knew what was going on in Manhattan and the coastal areas, turok. I just didn't know what the situation was in NYC's suburbs. Hang in there, dude. Act of God and all that...something that mere mortals just have no control over. They just have to deal with the hand they were dealt.
Plan B would have worked fine and Ray and Tony would have been here before Sandy struck...but Ray had family in Manhattan that he didn't want to leave on their own.
As I told Ray, "Tony waits on NO man!" But if there's a FAMILY involved...Tony will wait. ;-)
Tony will be back from Connecticut by Friday at the latest (come hell or high water...so to speak...with Hurricane Sandy bearing down on the Northeast) in order to get our files for the THE WILD SHALL WILD REMAIN hardcover to the printer in good time (and I can send you your copy before Christmas) without having to incur late charges.
As far as Horatio goes, Tony came up with a last minute plan B for him...but it wasn't a plan that Ray was willing to go with (at least it wasn't a plan he wanted to implement as of yesterday). So Ray may not get to Atlanta for at least another couple of weeks or so. We'll see. In the meantime, BobBurdenComics.com will make do with just the 3 of us.
Hi there, turok! Sorry I haven't been around CV lately...been too busy. I was just about to post on http://www.facebook.com/BobBurdenComics?fref=ts, but I'll give you guys the scoop instead. :-)
