The new Flash

Both the Brightest Day and the new Flash come out tomorrow.

Which one do you think will sell more copies at the comic book store? The last Flash series didn't do that well, but Blackest Night was a huge success. This time I think the tables may be turned.

Brightest day will probably sell better, but The Flash will be the better book

Well, the Brightest Day is a #0, not the #1...and Reis isn't drawing it.

I looked at it last night and the artwork is sub-par.

Brightest Day did beat out the Flash, but not by much. Most of the folks who followed Blackest Night bought both.

@Roxanne Starr: I liked Flash a little bit more.

You and just about everybody else.

The artwork on Brightest Day was a turn-off...and I am unanimous on that!

TTTT I have no opinion about the two books since I haven't read either one. I don't read many superhero titles. Generally I just look at the artwork.

@Roxanne Starr: I that case it's definitely Flash. Francis Manapul is a wizard.

Manapul's stuff is very good. The artwork on Brightest Day, OTOH, sucks.

Brightest Day has pretty much stopped selling altogether. So has Flash for that matter.

Since Brightest Day is a #0 issue, people may just be passing it up. Maybe the #1 will do better.
