Snowy Comic Book Covers

Since I'm snowed in with 2 inches of ice pellets on top of 4 inches of snow out there, Turoksonofstone suggested I start a new blog. He may have saved me from squandering a fortune on online shopping today. :-)

O.K., guys, let's see some snowy comic book covers that are not associated with Christmas. I'll start with these...

@Morpheus_:

Thanks! I remember that one.

It's not as easy to find these snow covers as I thought it would be. I think snowy covers were more popular on pulps than they have been on comics.

I don't like "Roxy," but Rox is what most people call me.
Posted by Mercy_
@Roxanne Starr: Roxy always sounded a little barbie doll-ish/stripperish to me.

Roxy was the name of the laundromat across the street from my junior high school, where the kids used to buy their cigarettes out of their cigarette machine.

I actually haven't read this, but I think it's a pretty cool looking cover.

Here's some other good ones, from Fables.

Is this the one where all the pages inside are blank?  ;-)

@Jotham:

Ah, yes. Much of Fables takes place in upstate New York.

I doubt it. I think I would have heard about that.

I need a favor, Jotham. Could you please post something on the Pulp Fiction thread?

I'm flooded and have been waiting for Johnny-O to show up, but he hasn't been paying attention. :D

 Still snowed-in here. Just got word that FedEx, whose trucks bring us our comics from Diamond, may be prohibited from coming into the city right now. :(

Maybe someone else will recognize that "virgin" cover and provide us with the final product.

Anybody know where that image appeared?

I met Fiona Staples at a comic con but I was pretty shy so I didn't say much to her. That girl is c-u-t-e.

You are a sneaky devil, E...Grrrrrrrrrr...

Since #66 isn't out yet, we can't show the final cover. But then by the same token, I can say that cover doesn't exist. :b
