Catwoman returns to Gotham City with the plan to make herself a detective agency to work for the people of Gotham City. She, Holly and Slam set up the agency with the help from Selina’s new boyfriend, Catman. The first issue they’re un packing all Selina’s stuff as she sets herself up as a new protector of Gotham City. Everything is looking up when she finds a cradle left in her office with a note in it saying, The Cat’s back in town, sweetie. She instantly knows it’s her Mother. The story then follows Selina and her new crew dealing with the rumblings of war as The Cat begins to vie for power against rival Gangs. Selina reunites with her estranged ex Mafioso Father, Carmine Falcone who has nowhere else to turn but to Selina.
