Let's see, I have the red Archangel. Every figure in that line had a variant, we received the variants where I worked, which included Collosus in the Acolyte uniform, Patch Wolverine in black insead of blue, Dark Beast, and a very subtle paint change for Lady Deathstrike. The only original paint scheme I actually bought from these is Collosus because his classic outfit is so much better looking. I also have the classic colors for Quicksilver (and now I know where that gun goes. Why does Quicksiver have a gun (and why does god need a starship?)?), and that Psylocke. On variants, I have a Golden Witchblade I got free at a convention, as well as a Manga Spawn Goddess.

I have a lot of those 10" figures. They were $3.99 at Big Lots. I did pick up a few two packs for $7 at KB Toys. Pretty much every one of those figures reused some of the pieces from other figures. Arms, legs, and bodies were the same for a lot of the figures. Especially when looking at Spider-Man, Cosmic Spider-Man, Spider-Man 2099, and Scarlet Spider, which were all the same figure with a repaint. Speaking of reusing molds, I have a lot of theFamous Cover 8" figures that come in cloth costumes and they reused arms, legs, and  bodies for pretty much ever figure. Wolverine and Captain America have the same hands, and would wear the same gloves but claws are glued to Wolverine's. From that line I do have a classic Wolverine and a brown Wolverine.

Now, talking of different versions of figures, I have a ton of the Legends of Batman figures, which includes cyborg, viking and samurai Batmen. It's like a Return of Bruce Wayne series but from 1995. The line includes Knightfall and Knightsend Batman, which are variations on the Jean Paul Valley Batman. I have two Hulks, because the first Hulk I bought is smaller than the X-Men figures so I needed something size appropriate. Same thing with my multiple Apocalypses, although the Onslaught Apocalypse was just too cool not to buy. I have a Batman and Robin Bane, and the Legends of the Dark Knight giant Bane. I bought the Total Justice Superman because my Super Powers version lost his arm long ago. I also bought a 12" Superman, plus a Batman and Catwoman 2 pack of 12" figures. I also have Spawn and Medieval Spawn from their first lines and two Cable figures. And then speaking of Wolverines, I have the 1991 brown version with retractable claws and a sword, Patch, and Age of Apocalypse.

But, apart from buying different size versions of figures, I tended not to buy other versions of figures. Even if I then only have the Robot Fighters Cyclops. But there are a lot of cool variants and different versions of figures out there. If I still had money and space I would buy more, but alas I do not for the moment. And I like having the figures or boxes displayed, because what's the purpose of buying them if they are going to hide in a closet?

Actually, it's saying Iron Lad re(turns) which seems to indicate he might be turning on the Young Avengers when he does return. And the Ultron War is what we are actually seeing take place in the future, and what has caused the time stream to be broken. So, I don't know if we will ever see this Ultron War.

I love Wagner's art but this cover just looks bland.

I still have my trade, and several of the issues. This was around the time I got my pull list from my comic shop and started collecting. I only collected Superman for about two years from here. But at the time, it was interesting, and the ending of the issue itself was pretty impactful with the fold page showing Superman collapsed dead. Of course, this was also a time I feel some shame for. Why do I have six copies of Adventures of Superman 500? One unopened, one opened, and one "regular" edition, and then again signed by Jackson Guice (he drew the back up that continued in his Superman comic). Just a few years later I was better, as I have one copy of a random issue of Excalibur signed by Casey Jones. And I have one copy of the first issue of Punisher War Journal and it has Matt Fraction telling me to die on the cover.

It doesn't serve as a finale because it's not a finale. They just decided they would rather have Daken's series start with a #1 rather than keep continuing Wolverine's old numbering. Especially since they are restarting Wolverine Weapon X as Wolverine. And then when they renumber Wolverine to #300 in 21 issues (unless the count the four issue miniseries in the numbering), they won't have to explain whether they are using the 16 issues of Dark Wolverine that continued the number or the 16 issues of Weapon X.

Here's the problem with Emma, starting with Generation X, she gets redeemed, loses her icy exterior and starts to care, and then the next writer turns her into a cold hearted witch and starts the process over again. So, she was humanized, and then Whedon turned her cold and then humanized her, and now Fraction. But it's weirder with Fraction, since he's been writing her different from this for a while. So, her characterization in this issue feels completely off. Makes me wonder if Fraction wasn't given a direction with her and Scott because they want to bring another character back from the dead.

I will just continue to stick with the Max imprint of Punisher. While not up to the levels Ennis set with the series, Aaron has taken it as his own and kept Frank as the slasher villain style unstoppable force while focusing on his Wilson Fisk's attempt at a rise to power. Truthfully, I would not have minded if they kept Frankencastle around for a while longer.
