The first hour of the movie was absolutely great but then it started going down hill and the ending wasn't anything special. Overall I liked the movie, but it wasn't the best. 3.5 out of 5.
If you drop the Lucky 7 reviews couldn't you then give some short reviews of the weeks comics on the podcast. Also you didn't mention what you thought of the nominees for the 2010 Eisners. I would have liked some predictions from you. Hopefully you will comment on winners.
Keep up the great work. I very much appreciate it.
I agree with Babs on this one. A decent issue. 3.5 out of 5
Hey G-man you are too generous with your review scores. You give out a lot of 4s and 4.5s and very few low scores. I know you mostly review the big books and they are often very good but there should be a little more difference in the review scores.
Epic storyline and great last issue. The thing I didn't like so much was the heroes and especially the villains.
Deadman saves the day after having gone missing for a long time in Blackest Night. It should have been Hal Jordan, the Flash, Superman or maybe Batman.
The villains were so weak. Nekron just stood there and did nothing the entire last issue. Lex wasn't one of the smartest humans alive. He was more like one of the dumbest. Superman shouldn't have any problems with defeating him in the future if he is this stupid. And Sinestro wasn't so cool and powerful as I had hoped. I wished we would have seen more from him.
I really think the villains suffer a lot from Blackest Night. They were so weak. Who is going to threaten earth now?
I would give the entire storyline a 4/5. Geoff Johns is still the best, but I need some cool villains.
G-Man would you please review The Amazing Spider-man 622. It was a very strange issue with two stories. I personally didn't like it and Spider-man is my favourite comic series so I was very disappointed. I even thought the last issue in The Clone Saga was must better. I would like to know what you think of 622? If you don't have time for a video review, maybe you could mention it on the Comic Vine podcast.
