G-Man, when you said Stark and MJ had a history, do you know any arcs that was in? I was gifted a Marvel Unlimited subscription so I'm curious to dig back for plot points like this. =)
Um... wow.. Holy Mother of Pearl! The Marvel U has changed since I had to stop pulling comics in Jan 2014 for personal reasons.
I'm going to be able to start pulling soon so I took a look at these solicits.
Some observations:
Did Marvel renumber again as a reboot or volume continuation?!
All the covers here and DC's look really awesome. ASM's is my favorite here.
I'm guessing Secret Wars' impact was pretty big....
Really glad to see Slott/Allred still on Silver Surfer, and Wilson on Ms. Marvel.
The Spidey books are giving me a Batman Inc vibe from just seeing these solicits. Not a bad thing - I'm hoping these stories bring something unique to the spidey mythos.
I had to stop pulling comic books since last January for personal reasons. Dang! So much has changed in the Marvel U! I really enjoyed Waid & Samnee's Daredevil. Reread those quite a bit. Looking forward to this take as well.
Anyone know what books Waid and Samnee are working on now, respectively? I'm hoping to be able to get back to pulling comics soon. Might have to make a forum post asking you guys to help me out with things I missed out on.
All of Felicity's scenes were so awesome. Emily Bett Rickards is a real gem in Arrow's cast... and I would so marry her.
I see where Sara's storyline will go like G-Man said, but man... Watching the preview for next week's episode, it looks like another Lance family moping hour. Haven't we had enough of the Lance's going through dramatic events where one of them 'messes up big time' and the entailing crying and drama?
Kattie Cassidy and Paul Blackthorne's characters, imo, need less grit. They've been through so much in the past few seasons, it's time to let them be the best versions of them.

I remember when the lead actor of the show Chuck was campaigning hard to have this series adapted to either a movie or TV series. It would be cool if he got the role. Seems like a good fit for Yorick, but maybe too old now.
Anyone know how well last year's big event series' did for Marvel financially? I'm on the side that would rather let the writers really dig into the mythos of the individual title characters in their respectful books, but if they keep making boatloads of money off these events, there is probably no reason for them to stop.
