Nope. Emma and Scott should stay together.

I would maybe to have like to seen Jean have a relationship with Warren. They both dated each other as teenagers and now as adults they could have made it work.

@spiderbat87: Dude, we're just forming an opinion on what we've seen...The cast looks solid but the people working on behind the scenes don't don't inspire much hope. The project seems just too big for them in some aspects. It's just it's so soon to have a reboot in some regards.

Problem is we've seen he's origin. How can it be "untold"? "Untold" just translates to "reboot to crap out of it". Marc Webb did a great job with 500 days of Summer, but Spider-Man ain't no romantic comedy. In some regards yes, but they're doing a weird adaption when Gwen actually knows he's spider-man.

I just wish the show would stop treating us like we're two years old.

Infinity Gauntlet. Possible addition of either Wasp, Ms Marvel, but what I really want is Squirrel Girl.

I like how Laura is not contained or restricted to the x-books. They have a hard time branching out.

Well, Wolverine would be an obvious example. But, well yeah...

I'm talking about characters like how the Justice League have the Big 3. Recognizable from the get go. There are a lot of X-Men...but who are the major players? Certain X-Men can have the limelight for a while but snatched away for the next one to have their moment of glory. Who are the constants?

Cyclops's will always be major player I think. Wolverine will always be front and center as well. Marvel has yet to make a flagship female character for the X-Men because none have been given enough exposure to aptly decide. I think Emma Frost could be the female face, but, unfortunately the lack of "legacy" kind of makes me regretfully unsure to do so.

Storm I think so, but recently writers haven't been utilizing her character much. She has her own team but I think the days of classic Storm are over with writers just not understanding the character that much. This woman could use a refreshing and mental story line to rejuvenate the character.

If Jean would stop dying and threatening to come back every two seconds I would probably say her. She's one of the originals, powerful, and has quite a history. She has a pretty good claim to the title. I don't even know what the hell her status is at the moment. Is she dead? In the White Hot Room? Is she dead in the White Hot Room?

Speaking of Jean Grey....

Jean Grey knock-off Hope Summers (Phoenix host) has emerged to be a essential to the X-Men's future...somehow. I honestly don't know how the Phoenix is going to "fix" things. She's a recent character being pushed at us. Problem is her power set is just so damn boring. Power mimicry. Phoenix. How original. Haven't seen that before. She's just got no hook. Factor is the occasional attitude problems and pissing off fan-favorites, she's not exactly Miss Popular. She's a "no" for me.

This list can go on and on......

Anyways, alive, dead, semi-dead, whatever....

1) Who do you think are the current major players?

For me, Cyclops, Wolverine, Emma, Magneto.

2) Who do you think will be able to maintain a status for years to come?

Scott, Logan, Magneto, Emma given enough time, Illyana I predict could expect a rise in status.

3) What characters would you like to "reclaim" their former glory?

Storm. I reluctantly say Jean but she's better off in concept. Rogue, because she's boring as of late.

4) What characters would you like to become major players?

Dazzler, Sage (have they forgotten about her?!), Blink, Northstar, Idie, Angel (because I have a soft spot for the first class).

5) Whose role would you like to see reduced?

Wolverine.Wolverine.Wolverine.Wolverine.Wolverine.Wolverine.Wolverine.Wolverine.Wolverine.Wolverine.Wolverine.Wolverine.Wolverine.Wolverine.Wolverine. And, uh, Wolverine. Dude's characterization has been whack for years.
