Ok so it took me years of reading before I could get into Fantastic Four. This summer I read Millar's Ultimate run and his run leading up to Hickman's (as well as Hickman's.) And right now I'm into the entire original Civil War event, mostly to read FF and Black Panther (Because even before I liked FF, their presence in Civil War was always a gut puncher to me. Specially that moment Sue leaves the note for Reed.) Any other FF arcs that you could recommend to me?
There really aren't many. Jason Aaron had an interesting 4 issue run years back. Mark Millar's Ultimate Avengers where Ghost Rider is a villain is decent. But mostly cause of Yanick Paquette's art.
The All New Ghostrider from 2013 is good until the later issues.
Is there an order to how you read weekly books? I like to read what I'm least interested in first and save the best juicy stuff for last. Which for me is usually something Bat related most weeks. But this week Seven To Eternity (that first page, wow.)
I just think Batman killing again in a movie was such a huge misstep among a pile of missteps. That and I think too much of the spectacle was lost in the trailers. Gave way too much away. Just because you go for the epic time length doesn't mean you can give your meat and potatoes away.
