Aside from The Joker, Ra's is Batman's greatest foe. With a worldwide network at his disposal, a knack for cheating death an absurd amount of times, and an understandable yet slanted view of the world that drives him high into super villainy! The mystical aspects and his physical prowess matching that of Batman himself are deliciously cool. He also has a beautiful and almost equally unscrupulous daughter that wants to make Bat-Babies with Batman...oh wait!

This goes back into childhood nostalgia and fascination. When he's focused he can be one of Spider-Man's most formidable foes. The various forms of sand he can conjure with his body keep him an endearing super cool image.

A slightly less cool version of Ra's al Ghul is still a super cool villain! He has robot duplicates and an entire Eastern European country for his villainous lifestyle! His ego-driven quest for vengeance against Reed Richards is his downfall and among his more interesting character aspects often explored well.

The Superman imposter can manipulate machinery and is straight up evil! Such a great character not seen enough in Superman comics. But maybe he was better used briefly as to not lose the villainous flavor.

Forget Sabertooth, this guy was always my favorite foil for Wolverine. The creepy tentacles and Soviet Cold War evilness have made him so memorable to me.

She keeps the family business in check with her gnarly Mist powers. She also hatch ed one of the most diabolical plans against a superhero's life I can think of. Her dismantling of some C-List Justice Leaguers is fantastic.

His jolly demeanor and disposition belie the hulking physical presence and bottomless capacity for inflicting violence and death.

Absolute power corrupts absolutely. Would a bad guy really want to take over the world and have to manage it? He'd probably just want to live in luxury and make ungodly amounts of money whilst going on recreational mass-murder sprees.
