1. There will be two Dick Graysons (one blue from earth 3 the other one in red) (also explaining the promo image)

2. Dick Grayson will be either connected to the prisoner (from JL 23) or will be the prisoner (escaping in the initial struggle showed at the end of JL)

3. Earth 3 Grayson will have started as villain in his home world and became hero (remember this is a reverse world where all heroes are villains)

4. Earth 3 Grayson had a relationship with Superwoman and then turned hero (explaining why Superwoman hates Dick Grayson, think Injustice how everyone still hated Luthor even though he was good)

5. The Crime Syndicate will have a counterpart (something like the Legion of Justice) that has waged war all over earth 3 leaving it nearly destroyed

6. The two Graysons will work together uniting villains and heroes to prevent the Crime Syndicate taking over and get the JLs back

7. Dick Grayson (earth 3) will die giving his life to finally defeat the crime syndicate and restoring peace to both Earths (Dido creams in his pants)

8. Dick Grayson (ours) will finally get a team of his own after the conclusion

it says in the comicvine Cheetah page that she can transform into the Cheetah at will. so she could have a human side if this is true or could be made true in the New 52. so in theory if the OP wanted to really push for that Cheetah could reveal that she can turn back into a human (but maybe only for a short time before the God repossesses her) which would be revealed to NW in part 6. So like i said the OP could make it work if he really wanted it to happen but it does open up a whole can of worms and could never be the kind of relationship that Dick had with Babs or Starfire but the whole catwoman thing might work.

it really wouldnt be that different then Superboy hooking up with Ms. Martian (who is really a huge nasty monster) but SB hooks up with her "human" form during YJ

as Nightwing would hook up with Cheetahs true human form

@db150

Unlike many of my esteemed colleagues I do find a story with both of them as practical. This is how i see a story between them fitting together

1. Cheetah is committing a crime and is double crossed and on the verge of death

2. Nightwing rescues Cheetah and is reluctant to give her over to authorities because who ever is after her might kill her in prison

3. Nightwing being the boy scout he is nurses Cheetah back to health while trying to hunt down who ever tried to kill her

4. Cheetah "hates" Nightwing and is constantly rude but needs his help

5. Whoever is trying to kill Cheetah finds them and attacks in force nearly over whelming Nightwing until Cheetah helps and the fight side by side

6. That night Cheetah reveals that she hasn't always been Cheetah but is under the control of the Cheetah God (which is True in the New 52)

7. Nightwing desires to help Cheetah reclaim her humanity because he sees her as a victim (who is being possessed and is good inside)

8. Cheetah tolerates Nightwing because he showed her kindness and loyalty ( loyalty being key because the whole Cheetah/WW beef comes from WW "betrayal")

9. Cheetah trains Nightwing as she is likely much better skilled (she has hurt Superman, defeated WW, and more then held her own against the entire JL)

10. Nightwing works to save her emotionally and she develops a soft spot for Nightwing but wont admit it

11. They finally defeat the bad guy and have an unspoken bond (Nightwing having hope in Cheetahs good side, Cheetah considering NW her only friend)

the end

As many of you already know Dick Grayson will be featured in Forever Evil starting next month. Also he will appear as the main character in Justice League #25.

that is all

I love the fact that Nightwing is being featured in villains month but I have been wondering if having his villains take over his book might be needed even more. I mean seriously who can you put on Nightwing's take over book? Saiko is dead. Prankster is already being featured. and Paragon was weak. Shiva was only passing by. So who could DC really needs to add some one. Nightwing building his rouge gallery would be really helpful in September since that what a lot of the other books are getting. Hopefully he gets both main featured and builds up some villains along the way.

@nathaniel_christopher:

I agree. there is no way that DC is not going to bring back some characters. the sad part is DC never invests in Dick Grayson and he is still a very popular character just look at his sales. I mean Dick has been around almost as long as Bruce and he should already have a large rouge gallery of villains. but DC's problem is as soon as they make a great villain they automatically add him to the Bat Gallery or give him to another character. None of Nightwings villains stay with him.

. for example

Deathstroke- Major villain from his TT days and there were a lot of good stories between Deathstroke and NW. Now DS has gone after Jason Todd and I think Tim's Titans as well but has not even seen Nightwing.

Blockbuster- changed into a minor villain in the JLA series.

Gordon jr, - Now a bab's villain and in the suicide squad now

Court Of Owls- should be exclusive Nightwing villains since he is the "Grey-son" but have been changed into Batman and Talon Villains

Saiko- killed off

Nightwing has had not had a single villain that has lasted through out his entire run. as were Batman always has had the Joker ( joker was never killed off or anything or made into another characters main villain)

Supes has always had Lex.

the problem is not the writers inability to create great villains its DC's inability to invest in Nightwing.

I also strongly disagree with the other guy these villains are not way above Nightwings level and in truth Dick should ultimately be a better hero then Bruce. Now before every one cries " oh Dick can never ever beat Bruce cuz Bats is the bestest"

Pick up Batman Zero Year (Bruces first year a Batman) and compare it to Dick's first (and only) year as Batman. Then honestly compare them side by side and tell me who was the better Batman and it's obviously Dick. (once again only considering those two comics side by side)

now consider the fact the Bruce started when he was around 25/26 Dick became Batman before he as 21 (because that's around the age he is now). then add four more years to that and Nightwing will be far above Bruces level in the future.

If you got in a time capsule and plucked 25 year old Bruce from the first issue of zero year and went into the future four more years and took Nightwing from the first issue four years from now. Nightwing would absolutely destroy Bruce Wayne.

Now there's all this BS saying " Bruce is a better detective and blah blah blah" but look at Dick Grayson's Batman. he was much more serious and much more focused then he had been previously as Nightwing. The simple fact is Nightwing has a ten year advantage (in the new 52) over Bruce Wayne. so even if it took Nightwing ten years to catch up to Bruce Wayne on a detective level, Nightwing would be better because Nightwing has already surpassed Bruce in some aspects like leadership.

@nathaniel_christopher:

he may soon return becuase it looks like that's who Bats and NW are fighting in Batman and Nightwing #23 on Wednesday or more then likely its just a flashback. but theoretically he could be brought back at any time as the Last Batman Inc revealed there were many many Damian clones that could also be aged and enhanced.

we have seen this question a thousand times and the answer is still no for the multitude of reasons that I have listed previously. the whole "he will suffer" thing is just a hype tool. just like the whole " the bat-family will be destroyed" thing that happened in DOTF. some feelings got hurt but I don't think that in anyway DOTF "destroyed" the bat-family. Damian's death shows that even though they all had hard feelings for Bats most of the family has been trying to help him in the Batman and.... series and the Batman Inc series. so no DOTF did nothing and the Crime Syndicate will do nothing to Dick Grayson

@batmannflash:

yea hopefully they will try something new. I still remember the episode where Terra turned traitor in Teen Titans animated, damn near ripped poor lil Beast Boy apart. but like you said its been done before.

@nathaniel_christopher

agreed. It could be good for Dick to get support of his team to work through that.

@batmannflash:

sounds good to me. I wish someone in DC would just read this and be like "deal. we start next month"

I just hope Terra is not a traitor again. I really liked her character especially in the teen titans animated series, it sucked when she turned traitor.
