General opinion is still: This is the most retarded thing anyone has ever seen.

Ok, Capt America losing his place, totally with it, then they decided to shove into anyone and everyone's face "oh, look at us, we're so in touch with modern society and so fair with minorities/sex quota" - by piling on top of the fairness and equality bandwagon so blatantly like this.

Realistically? You're all full of crap.

This isn't what comics are about. People may have a favorite writer, artist, people may like a comic for the concept, but in the end of the day, they are brought in because of an icon, an hero, or a villain, a small character that they identify themselves with.

With all the need for comics to change and adapt to the new era, I personally miss the days when I had pleasure reading comics because it made sense, the surprises were legitimate and were not there to shock or to please the corporate vultures, or to be accessible to minorities.

But alas, that is my piece, and I just had it.

Pleease, stop the moaning already.

If it a movie you all say that there is not enough time to cover all the important aspects of the character. If it is a series you want a movie.

It will just depend on the quality of the freaking thing! Not the format!

Marvel teases, Marvel teases, Marvel teasers, Marvel teases, Marvel teases, Marvel teases, Marvel teases, Marvel teases, Marvel teases, Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarvel teeeeeeeeeeeeeeeases, Marvel teaser, Marvel teases, Marvel...Marvel teases, Marvel teases, Marvel teases, Marvel teases, Marvel teases, Marvel teases, Marvel teases. Marvel teases! Marvel teases, Marvel teases, Marvel teases? Marvel teases, Marvel teases, Marvel teases, Marvel teases, MARVEL TEASES!!! Marvel teases, Marvel teases, Marvel Teases?!

Got it the first 100 "teasings" of uneventful events. Next up, Marvel Teases Spiderman: Look How Cool I Am Swinging Around New York! or Daredevil: Still Blind! or Avengers in "Fighting-Against-Random-Vilains-That-Are-Not Really-Important-To-The-Characters-Development-But-We-Make-It-Look-Super-Awesome-By-Writing-Something-Vague-Somewhere-And-Just-Throw-It-Out-There".

Really Marvel, it's exhausting. Even if you'd give something absolutely amazing I'd be sparing no f**ks because of the poor work with promotion mainly.

Marvel teases everything. See, right about now they could tell the most absolutely fantastic tale with the return of Jean with art to rip my eyes off as everything you look at will seem ugly as hell, and I'd downgrade it immediately because they are making every single development into a event with lots of poster and the works. It's degrading really.

Jean grey coming back in Marvel...meh.

Joker coming back in DC I'm jumping in my seat.

And the only reason is, DC knows how to tease, and Marvel teases every single thing that's going to happen, until you don't really care any more cause half of those stories are not even event material IMO.

My God..

Let's forgive the crazy lady for trying to wipe out everything with simply a thought of her mind.

Let's also forgive the Joker, and every other pal at Arkham while we're at it cuz, frankly, It's not them, it's the crazy people in their heads!!

And stop comparing everything with Magneto, D. Doom or even Jean, I mean, Magneto has is own reasoning behind what he does, D. Doom as well, and Jean, well lets say that it is the closest case to Wanda, but we all know what a peculiar love hat relation we all have with the Phoenix Force. Crazy is Crazy, is all about them seeking forgiveness for something that happened while they were crazed out with whatever was, but then sometime later we're going to be having this same discussion about Wanda again, and know she tried to do something ever worse and then again the motives or justifications grow reaaaaly thin. That's the point of mixing madness to the character, they WILL get whats coming to them because there's no way of knowing if the next craziness will end the life of those who even thought of forgiving her, or the life of many other innocent people.

Too soon? Well let's face it, it's more than too soon. It's plain stupid.

All the comics that DC launched in the new 52 are not even beginning to define themselves, and some of them ARE going to undergo changes that might or might not change the way we see and read them, new writers, new villains, etc. How are we going to pick up a line here if they just throw the thread around and hope it doesn't turn out to be a big mess of knots like it was before. It would be safe to thing that DC would be tired of rebooting or retconing stuff to figure out what is canon or what is not and eve the greatest thought of them all, what the hell means to be canon for them nowadays.

It's time to put the brakes on that stuff. I mean, DC is behaving like a big baby showing off to everyone that their toy is "oh so much better than everyone elses, see what it does", and above all, they CAN boast about it because it is working for them, in terms of numbers. Meanwhile they juggle with the new readers that are enjoying the new stories without taking into account all the history behind, and old readers are clinging to this Pandora character to relate to Flashpoint and previous events pre-Flashpoint.

Pandora should be a mystery until this new universe gets glued together because right now, it's just individual shards of the previous universe, and until it can be fixed, we will find out that there are many missing pieces to hold everything together.

@UpUpAndAway said:

Wait. Is Black Bolt saying that? I is confuse. :/ I'm starting to think Ol' Grumpy Galactus aint the bad guy this time around. This'll surely be interesting.

I agree, this makes it all look like a warning...but from Galactus?! An alliance maybe?

That'd be crazy! But possible. Just wondering who might be behind all this, a new galactic/universal sized villain.

Might throw me in a frenzy like reading to catch up all the major Marvel events that lead to these. =D

Realy? Doesn't matter.

DC may have turned the new 52 into a starting point for new readers but you can still relate to all the events that have hapened before. That's the main reason I facepalm myself when I hear/read people complaining about all the changes in these new comics. Just stop for a litle bit. There is no reboot in my pov, and even if it was, does that makes you forget all the great histories you read in all tha comics in the past? No. It doesn't. If you consider that the New 52 is working as much for new readers and veterans alike, then somehow the new earth-2 will make the same sense in all of this.

To me some changes make sense, some dont, some characters don't even seem apealing to read but then again, I've tried to read all of the just to give them a shot and I'll do the same thing with New 52-2. =P

Well, I even had to roll it back to the top to check again if I had read it right the first time.

Unfortunatly I did, "MUCH"?!?!?! Much of the movie...bla bla bla..Krypton.

That's just wrong, I mean, yeah, opening scenes and all it makes all the sense in the world, but "much" of the movie set in a planet that was wiped out by it's core going Kaboom by the time the main character was less than 1 year old. Well, that makes sense. [ N-O-T ! ! ! ]

I realy wonder if someday they'll just look back and learn from the mistakes they made in all the crapy Superhero movies, trying to sell it to everyone and anyone, insted of making it creatively faithfull to the stories we all love and loved to read. Untill then, well, lets just see some of the greates characters in comic book history getting butchered by the Holywood all-powerfull-know-it-all's
