@ssejllenrad: How dare you! Surely you see that all these characters look exactly like Ed Harris, but with hair! Also all of his characters look exactly the same. I think that's most everyone's gripe. It's not that the characters depicted look poor, but they all look very similar minus a hair color.
So, while I was reading my issue of Uncanny X-men 06 I came to the realisation that it's not only the women that look similar! Cable, Dr. Nemesis and Magneto alone look relatively the same and they look very similar to a certain actor!
It tends to be a running joke that he traces sooo...think he's tracing photos of Ed Harris?!
*Bump* Well this issue was certainly interesting. I found the writing to be good again, but I can see the issue people have with this Land artist. It's not that it's poor, but there is little diversity between the female characters. How can you draw Colossus, Magneto and Cyclops to look as if they are different people, but most of the X-women look like clones. Hell Danger, a damn robot, has the same facial structure as the other women!
Sexual innuendo aside I enjoyed the issue. (Namor is a pedophile.) Looking forward to the next issue.
Also these issues are coming out once every two weeks. Hope this keeps up as well.
@joshmightbe: I'm sure they'll give Cain the power again eventually, but for now I'm happy that someone else is getting the chance to use the power. Can Cytorrak actually create another Juggernaut or can their only be one? 'Course just saying that I realise having two would be retarded. There are like five hulks now in the marvel universe and no one really gives a crap.
@joshmightbe: I'm talking more about Cain than whomever possesses the ability to become Juggernaut. Depowered or not Cain has little going for him in terms of the ability to make an intriguing story.
@k4tzm4n: No doubt. A quick google search and I found the panel I'm talking about. Granted Colossus gets swarmed, but I guess these are 'hard facts'(whatever that means in the comic verse) as to his current durability.
The more I think about it the more I'm not sure how the math works out with Colossus's durability. It's either 333 tons of force needed to break his arm or 750. Someone who knows better care to help me out?
