ReVamp

I woke up at 4am today, last night I slept from 7am-13pm. Preaching to the choir, haha.

Told You So

Doesn't really matter since new readers are going to be reading current comics, not old comics and they never really need to worry about anything but new-earth, right?
Anyways, a friend of mine told me he liked marvel more because its characters are less generic in terms of superpowers and attitude which leads to what he called "a more layered story". Personally i like DC more, i think that the bat family and their relations to each other are particularly interesting.

@ReVamp:

That really depends on the individual reader. New-earth is not the FINAL DC earth just the current one. It's safe to say that eventually the next "Crisis-cycle" will reboot this reality too.

I felt like going to the very last part of my inbox, to see what the very first PM I received was. I mean, I wasn't expecting much, put I wanted to know. Funnily enough, the very first PM I got was from an user (who is kind of well known) and we just happened to be discussing about the differences between DC comics and Marvel (I think that was what it was). Somewhere along the arguments someone must've said that it is easier to get into Marvel, which is true, but somehow it got to DC comics. Someone said that DC was complicated because of all the crisis (plural I think?) and I'm like Hell Naw, what the hell are you on? He said that the then current DC universe was not the going to remain the same way and there would be a next "Crisis cycle". I didn't disagree, in fact I agreed but mentioned that it was most probably to only happen in 30 or 50 years, long before our time as comic book readers.

Flash Forward 9 months or more and I think that I have to admit, he was pretty much right. Hurrah for him. You get to say "I Told You So"...
