The green light around his body was emitting aggressively. It had been over a year since he has used his new power now that he was the central power battery. With that said he could not afford to lose. The life of the Corps depended on his survival and the New Guardians made that clear to him.

Victory was the only thing on his mind and the defeat of the man that stood in front of him was his only task. The Renegade began to think of a way to defeat him and every conclusion he thought up on his own he could see that his powerful foe finding a way to overcome it. Apocalypse was so strong that you could feel his presence and he was also a manipulator. It was obvious that Apocalypse could feel the power of Renegade Lantern and like the fiend he was tried to recruit him by saying as he extended his hand....

 "Soldier do you really think your place is with these humans. To save these humans and the superior who want to side with them, men such as us are the fittest in the world of unfit. We should bind together rather than fight." - Apocalypse

The Power Battery looked at Apocalypse and the feeling of power that took him so long to rehabilitate began to spark up again and he began to think. "I could use this man and together we could be the most powerful beings in the universe, after I we take over I will kill him and no one will be more powerful then me" A sinister smile grew in face of RL as he began to slowly raise his hand towards the man in front of him. RL's eyes remained locked on him until right before his hand met with Nur's. Renegande Lantern knew that he had to survive and he had worked too hard to regain control. Although he had thoughts of ultimate power he knew that having control would be an even greater power for him. The whole time he was fixed on Apocolypse, he was creating something that would assure him victory in his mind in the radius of the enemy. Before shaking he stopped and the sinister grin changed quickly to a cold emotionless expression  and said "You will die today Apocalypse"

From over top came a perfect construct of Andferne swinging the Bloodaxe with miles of strenght towards the arm of En Sabah Nur they fading away. This was RL's way to guarentee his victory. Around Apocolypse was a construct of each of the members of his Zero Squad team as he remembered them. Wasting no time after the Andferne one attacked. The Hawk and Rayne constructs were next. Rayne had his arm charged with electricity and began to rush towards the back of Nur while Hawk came with dual katana's in hand over head. The Hawk construct attacked first after flying circles around Nur then came crashing towards his face and neck with a dual slash. Immediately after the Rayne clone came in with his hand electrified and extended it towards the lower back of the powerful Apocalypse.

After both of thier attacks the vanished and RL began to form an axe that he kept in his hand before sending out Jax who was steam rolling in towards Apocalypse with his hand cocked back to deliver an explosive punch.
