However, I'm happy that Emma is still in Uncanny X-Men.

I'm still a bit confused on that part. They were talking, and I was under the assumption that she was offering her Phoenix powers, because they had no choice (they made a toast). But then Cyclops took her down. What was Emma really planning, or what did she think Scott would do?

Man... I remember thinking Cyclops was a weakling way back during the X-Men animated series. They were de-powered at one time (by Sinister) and all he could was cower behind a rock or something. I poked fun at my brother since he liked Cyclops.

Didn't appreciate him until after the Messiah CompleX storylines. He's been a favorite of mine since.

Late to the party, but they do love each other. It has been said multiple times.

By Jean, as she was patching up Emma's broken body when it was shattered. She found out that Emma has true feelings for Scott (This is around the time Emma/Scott were having an affair)

In Astonishing X-Men, Whedon's run, she admits it. Cassandra Nova also says that she knows that Emma really does love Scott (with all her predator's heart). Scott also says "I love you" to Emma, while they were in the breakworld, while piloting a jet.

In the Dark Avengers storyline, somewhere around Utopia storyline I think, they admit it to each other. Emma was about to leave the institute. They talked, then they shared secrets and admitted they love each other. It was a whole comic of them just saying I love you.

Also, Emma repeatedly rejecting Namor.

The Magneto part, I actually liked. He swore loyalty to Cyclops, because of the stuff Cyclops has done to keep the mutants safe. It's right after he resurrected Asteroid M and named it Utopia, giving them have their own sovereign land, when Osborn was trying to run them out of San Francisco. Basically, he was impressed. I actually was impressed too when I read that. One of my favorite scenes in the last issues of the Uncanny X-Men.

Regarding Colossus, it was mentioned multiple times that he's fighting the urge to become the Juggernaut. I read this as Cain just wants the power, so he's The Juggernaut all the time. With Colossus, he didn't want it, he was forced to take it.

Kieron Gillen is one of my favorites on the later Uncanny issues. I like Matt Fraction's run too, except for the Madelyne Prior issues... I didn't like those stories at all.
