@Mr.Q: Thanks for the recommendation :) As for the Sentry, I haven't been reading about him lately... I think the last I've read about him was in WWH. It's maybe because he has some things in common with superman, I'm not saying that the creators ripped him off Supes, but you know what I mean :)

actually I think that is exactly what they did. I hear Marvel wanted a powerful character that was not restricted to a theme, much like Superman, for years. and the Golden man is far to similar to the man of Steel to ignore.
@Mr.Q: Guess their plan backfired. I searched the battle threads and I see a lot of flak going against Sentry in some battles. Maybe it's also one reason why Marvel killed him off. He's still dead though right? I might need to check his bio page sometime.

think he is still dead. but Joe Q likes him so he will most likely be back. I think most of the flak comes from the fact they forcibly shoe horned him into Marvel history and tried to make him more badass than any other character. his origin reads like a bad fanfic.
@RemyLeBeau:yeah. I'm fairly confident that if he was just introduced as a new character and not a 'lost hero' that apparently had ties to everyone in the company he would have been accepted better. according to his history he was around before the Fantastic Four, knew Spider-Man's identity, was married but STILL had a relationship with Crystal of the Inhumans AND Rogue when they were like in their late teens, was friends with the Hulk and could calm him down, was Reed Richards Best Man at his wedding, 'fought Galactus to a stand still' , had telapathic powers rivaling Professor X, was as smart as Stark and Richards and thats just to name a few. they tried MUCH too hard. and failed.
