Rotten gun says:

"it would be a great fight but rambo isn't in punishers league... "

What makes you think that?

Most heroes are like that. Colossus would never give up too. You said they're on land, in New York, and they get into a scuffle. Orin's very likely to go hand to hand from the jump, even though Colossus is a man completely made of metal. From there it gets difficult. Orin has taken shots, like the one from Wonder Woman you mentioned, and popped back up, but you never know exactly how hard they hit him. For that matter with so little to go on in this scenario, Colossus isn't likely to hit Orin that hard because he wouldn't think he would need to.

So after getting knocked around a couple of times and spraying water at Colossus ineffectually, Orin would realize the guy he was up against was for real and Colossus would realize Orin was for real. Now they both realize they have to up the ante to put the other guy down. So Orin's looking maybe to partially dehydrate Colossus and Colossus is looking to take his head off. The dehydration isn't likely to work and that's when I see Orin taking a serious shot that would put him down.

But it can diverge from that path at any point along the way.

Nah you cant say that man. Because no matter what happened in the fight one of them would win. It would be a stalemate if they were forced to fight for hours, days, years, and there wouldn't be a clear winner. In this fight they could both come out as the clear winner, but it depends on the things they do during the fight.

Hey you never know. It's one of those that depend on what happens over the course of the fight.

Gannon Nereid says:

"Sorry for not clearing things up..were talking about Orin..Arhtur hasno chance lol"

I see where we had the disconnect.

Gannon Nereid says:

"The only advantage i see here is Colossus's durability.Even though Aquaman can heal with his hands, thats it.If he can battle a White Martian and the JL he can pull it off imo."

I think Orin certainly could pull it off but just as you mentioned, when he was fighting the JLA it, he was using their weaknesses against them. Napalm for J'onn, anything would have worked on that idiot Guy, and then he got popped by Wonder Woman. I say this to say that it doesnt show Orin using his powers and skills to take battle the JLA, he used his knowledge of them to go after them. He has no knowledge of Colossus and Colossus doesn't have any obvious, easily exploited weaknesses.

I could see Orin not knowing that his only chance would be telepathy and trying another attack or even to go hand to hand with Colossus and getting taken out that way. Colossus is more likely to hurt Orin than Orin is to hurt him. So I would say things are leaning in his favor. Though Orin certainly could win.
