I'm glad that DC have finally seen the truth and they are delivering this to us.

It was supposed to happen a few years ago.

Me, I'm disillusioned at how quickly they throw away good books like the Runaways and Young Avengers and then re-introduce the concept with this.

I agree. The lack of direction has hurt Superman. People say just give us the real Superman but It's not that simple. That won't change the fact that his supporting cast will still be bad. So will his rogue gallery.

Superman is also OP. He has so many tools and so many ways to defeat any opponent. It's hard for writers to make him a decent challenge. You never feel like he is in danger and when he is, It's just for the sake of it cuz he can out of it in for realz.

I for one is excited. I'm ready for a new direction for Superman. A fresh and interesting one shakeup.

So exited for this arc. Just that thing Superman needs to change things up after the same old song and dance. I was absolutely disgusted with Johns after his lazy attempt at returning Clark to the Daily Planet, glad to see the writers took him out of there. Can't wait for the next Paktion Comic issue.

Show was amazing until Clark left College. It should have ended there as it lost It's strength (the whole origin story). It was supposed to end there but the show was so popular that they kept it going.

Combine that with prep time and yes he is.

Batman got to OP so that's why they showed up. Batman though he knew Gotham and they proved him wrong.

Jonathan Kent in MoS makes me laugh. What an asshole. Jonathan in Smallville on the other hand was glorious. His death was meaningful and hit hard. No other version will compare.

But personally, I wouldn't change Superman's simple, yet effective power set. It is the basic power set, the blueprint for a super-hero.
