he's too much of a loner to be on either team. so i say he goes solo and is only a part-timer
And he had like....1....2....3....4....5....6....7 partners. He isn't a loner, he had too many partners.
The thing is that he isn't a team player, because his partners have to follow his rules they aren't as experienced as him. But in a team with different points of view, when everybody is at the same level, when everybody has his own ways to do stuff, things are different, everybody wants to lead, he isn't the most flexible person ever so........ he don't go well with others :/
He wouldn't be an X-Men because he's not a mutant, and I don't even want to think about him being an Avenger because the thought of Bendis getting his hands on him is unbearable.
While he's not a mutant, the Avengers isn't really a team where a dark, brooding character with issues would fit in. The X-Men, on the other hand, is full of dark, brooding characters with issues! He'd fit in way better with them. Also, they're much closer to the vigilante type of hero that Batman is.
Osborn led Dark Avengers (he would have planted himself there and taken them down from the inside). Then probably the Thunderbolts.....maybe even Zemo led Thunderbolts. Or a team he creates by himself. Taking some of Marvels more obscure almost outlaw type characters and forming something brand new.
Batman Echo Taskmaster Viper Citizen V and one more character. I'll let you decide.
