@dr.x: It's a bit early to say really I don't think The Shield is even out yet but the Hangman one shot was great he seems like the most interesting character with plenty of room for developement. We really didn't learn that much about Inferno but with so many similar characters in the DCU he just doesn't seem that interesting.Even in appearance he looks almost identical to The Human Flame,at least since he was recently enhanced by Immortus.I won't get Web until later today.
I am enjoying some things about this comic and the prospect of Tim teaming up with Ra's is interesting. There are some things that I don't understand though, why would he adopt the Red Robin costume?Three issues in and we still don't know why Tim thinks Bruce is sill alive. As for The Wild Huntsman, that was just strange.I think Chris Yost needs to stop jumping all over the place in time and explain a little better what motivates his main character.
This book is so bad I just can't belive it's written by James Robinson.I love what he's doing on the Superman books but with this the characterisations seem way off, people fighting for reasons that are never explained, strange dialogue, chronically slow pace and the art isn't bad but it is very static, everyone looks like they're posing for a photograph. The only high point for me Congorilla!
@Truex: If you want an identity that few people know why not create an entirely new one?As for Bruce getting out of anything, if everyone you knew and trusted was telling you he was dead you would need a very compelling reason to believe the opposite and we haven't got that yet.I realise that Yost is trying to keep a few things back, I just think we need more information than we have at present.
@blade hunter: I'm sorry but I just can't get into this comic.Too much is being left unexplained. Why would Tim adopt the Red Robin identity? It seems like an unlikely choice if you want to forge a new identity. Why does he believe Bruce is still alive?I'm sure Chris Yost has an explanation but when you don't know what motivates the main character it makes it difficult to really care about them. After reading issue #3 we aren't any closer to understanding any of this and the new Wild Huntsman character was just stupid.
