Good review. This really surprised me by being so much fun and the pace never lets up. They could do with taking some time to add more depth to the characters but other than that a great book.

The Road Home should have been numbered as a mini because they do connect and are meant to be read in a particular order. To be honest though they really aren't worth it, I agree that as an issue of Red Robin this is fine but it should have been told in the main series. The Hit List was dropped in #16 so I'm sure he'll have a new direction now that Bruce is back.

Great review and I agree about what needs to change to make this story work.

I think she is questioning the gods so much because she can't understand why they would let the Amazons be persecuted like this. This version of WW was raised in a different way so her religious convictions may not be as strong but even in previous interpretations of her character she was never known for blind obedience. I don't know wny the men are attacking them but you have to suspect that Ares is behind it in some way. You wouldn't really expect JMS to reveal all straight away and I'm sure we'll get answers soon.

@DMC:
I get what you're saying and I agree that for someone not reading a lot of other DC titles that feeling of it being seperate would be a bonus. It looks like people will have have to start buying Generation Lost to get the full story of PG and I can see how that would annoy people on a tight budget or those that just don't want to buy that title but for me that feeling of things existing in a wider context is one of the main reasons I like comics and usually I think it enhances stories rather than detracting from them. I just don't think this title was popular enough to survive on it's own, if it doesn't get readers from other more popular books it will probably get cancelled.

I never really understood the love people had for the Palmiotti,Connor run on this book. Didn't like the art and although the stories weren't bad they just felt throw away and never had any impact on the wider DCU. I think the Basri art is fantastic and the stories are more integrated into the wider universe. To me this feels more like the strong character from the Johns run on JSA  than the slightly goofy character of earlier issues.

Great issue.This title has been pretty dark recently so it's nice to see something that's mostly just good fun.

@*Girl of Steel*:
I agree the WW story did come out of nowhere without much explanation but I think part of what JMS is doing is showing how different she might have been without the influence of her mother. Even though I think this will just go full circle and the character will end up exactly where she started I still think it will be an interesting story and I don't even hate the jacket that much!

I actually enjoyed his WW issue much more than Superman. What did you not like about it?
