I like the Red Lantern Title... They are the yin and yang of the Green Lanterns. The only title I read was Savage Hawkman, Carter Hall is a bad ass.The other ones i dont know much about, but I hate to see any title go.
a little to soft for me , great for kids...hey if it gets kids on board with a comic character, im all for it.... thor is portrayed as pretty ignorant though..cant get to much worse. all heart no brain, lol.
Change is good...but I agree the characters background should stay pretty concrete, minor changes or tweaks are ok.I read more dc than marvel bc marvel seems to be the bandwagon for lots of people right now.Marvel makes changes to but does a better job of making it flow for the reader and the readers understanding of character evolution.All i need is BATMAN and im good, and marvel doesnt have that....
I think its good there changing things up, its not like we will never hear from the original league somtime down the road. I enjoy the chance of finding a new character to follow.
I think the 90'S era comics got a little corny, Marvel especially had to much going on, quality over quanity. But i love comics i will read them and enjoy them from any era, collecting to just make a profit is bs, go collect baseball cards...lol. I hope to pass my collection on to my sons, any body thats ever got rid of their collection knows it a huge empty feeling, sucks bad.
Cyborg is the new guy on the team....hes a rookie(by the rest of the League's standards). Hes not just gonna come in and take over, over time I think his role will grow alot, hes already making a sacrafice, geez its his lung!
