BIOGRAPHY:
Though Lana did not have a family of her own, she was adopted into a English family of nobility spanning back for generations. More recently, her grandfather, Edmond Halley Kensington was granted the peerage of Earl of Kedleston in the 50’s after the initial line ended in 1925, the family already having a pervious history within the House of Lords. His daughter, Georgina Camille Kensington married Sir Ainsely Albert Lancaster, a successful banker who oversees the Bank of England’s monetary and economic policies and has contributed to the continued success of the British Pound Sterling.
Born Emma Elizabeth Lancaster, she later changed her name to Lana London before she moved from the UK to New York City to further her theatrical pursuits. Her routines can involve singing, dancing, acting, and strip-tease. Her wealthy upbringing and success in the performing arts have left her well-off even by metropolitan standards.
She is upfront about her mutation which has been a boon to her stage life. This mutant manifestation is the ability to transform herself into living diamond. In this form, she is immune to telepathic intrusion or other forms of mental assault or persuasion, incredibly durable and strong, and does not have the need to eat, sleep, etc., her bodily functions almost held in a stasis. Postponing of physical needs can allow her greater endurance though being in “soft form” can be taxing for one not used to yielding to biological necessity making her prone to fatigue and irritability. The understanding the frailty of her soft form makes her especially vain and meticulous about her health and appearance including bouts of anorexia or bulimia.
Lana journals in hopes of one day compiling and publishing a memoir about herself.
