The scenario: Hera and Eurystheus conspire yet again to destroy Hercules. Since Herc lost his super-strength following the Chaos War, both Olympian masterminds take total advantage of his mortal status. With the help of Wilson Fisk, aka The Kingpin, Hera and Eurystheus devise a new diabolical way to torment the former demigod. They create a whole new set of 12 Labors for Hercules to complete. He must run through 12 lesser powered, but equallydeadly villains - experts in guns, blades, explosives, and martial arts - in 12 different neighborhoods and landmarks of New York City. Herc must battle each villain starting in Coney Island, Brooklyn, all the way up to Yankee Stadium in the Bronx.

Will Hera, Eursytheus, and the Kingpin succeed in destroying the mortal Hercules once and for all??

"Have at THEE!!!"

RULES - Each villain will have their own original arsenals and powers
- In keeping with current continuity, Hercules will NOT have his Olympian powers (i.e. super-strength, stamina, durability, and immortality). He will be armed with his current arsenal, including the Arrows of Heracles and the Sword of Peleus. I will sweeten the pot by NOT including the Shield of Perseus. With its ability in turning individuals to stone, it's way too simple of a kill, no? Herc will, however, be wielding the Aegis (let's say the hero Aegis lends Herc his weapon to use as protection against bullets and other projectiles). Let's not ignore Hercules' millennium's worth of warrior experience. He will need all the melee fighting skills against this rag tag bunch of killers!
-  Herc has NO MORALS, along with--
 - Comical knowledge of his enemies
 - Approximately 1 hour of rest and prep time
 - No assistance from his friends, sidekicks, or colleagues (except for Aegis giving him the aegis)
 - BLOOD LUST IS DEFINITELY ON, for all fighters mentioned

AND HERE WE GO!

Will Hercules triumph against this demonic dozen?? How far would he last if he should fall??

Did I read right that the now de-powered but still unequivocally bad-ass Herc might clash with the Kingpin soon? Looks like I'll get my wish after all! (See my post for a "Herc vs Kingpin" one-shot from last year)

Yo true believers...

I'm contemplating buying the Wolverine/Hercules series, starting with the first ish. How is the series so far? I mean, I love both heroes. But I'm dying to see Herc taking on enemies that's totally unfamiliar to him, i.e. the Hand!

So what's the verdict, crew? Worth buying, or no?

...in, "War of the Scarred Men!"

Who else would love to see a showdown between Jonah Hex, and Harvey "Two-Face" Dent? I could totally picture the two most grotesquely-scarred characters in DC comics go head to head!

Charlize Theron, absolutely!

And who can play Karla Sofen/Moonstone? If she were younger, I could picture Daryl Hannah (Kill Bill) as the evil Ms. Marvel wannabe

Should they ever do yet another Batman/Daredevil crossover, I'd LOVE to see Bane be in it; he could perhaps team up with a known DD villain with the same character traits. I've noticed with these crossovers, the heroes would swap enemies (e.g., in one of the Bats/Devil one-shots, Daredevil battled the Scarecrow, while the Dark Knight tangled with the Kingpin). While DD dukes it out with Bane, which Daredevil villain could ya'll see face Batman? And let's just say it would be someone that Bats has not encountered before!

Anyone else want to see this knockdown/dragout? Would the Greek God of War and present member of Normie Osborn's Dark Avengers stand his ground against Marvel's most famous gun-toting vigilante?

@CATMANEXE: How is that new Dominic Fortune MAX print, anyway? Is it any good, and more importantly, worth buying?

Yeah, I never said Felicia died. I meant that the Black Cat needs a comeback and a one-shot series of her own, perhaps even a story-arc within "Dark Reign"...

Should I ever get anywhere with my own writing career, I'd like to contribute to Marvel myself and resurrect Citizen V (as you could all tell with my profile head-shot!). I personally think he was a nifty character and deserves to return to the spotlight after the original Thunderbolts run...I'd have him join the New Avengers or something and see what he would do to topple Norman Osborn.
