CV2: A year and 1/2 later

Wow, it's been a year and 1/2 since we originally launched Comicvine.com way back in December 2006. Back then it was just Captain Cascader and me sitting in a dirty Berkeley office* behind a hotdog shop, working through the night. Now we've got a whole crew of awesome friends ( and a new company name** ) who busted their butts on this second launch. And we have a great office in Sausalito, CA overlooking the bay -- and a cougar bar (!)-- no more Jerry the mouse scurrying under our feet or East Bay gunshots to dodge. Last month, someone was shot and killed in the parking lot of our old office, craazzy!
Behold a video of our team exhausted on our prolonged launch night.... the launch that never seemed to end, until now! Woot!
Supercoonce and Lord Sedrik are the 'rockstars' of this launch. Both of these guys work so hard and produce such amazing code. Having them around has taught me so much about building websites and writing code. It's really amazing to work with such cool, intelligent and funny dudes. When you work with guys so close for so long on a project -- 6 months! -- you learn alot about them, like that Lord Sedrik is also knows as "7 1/4 McCurdy" and that Supercoonce is the only dude I know who can call a waitress "Sweety" or "Honey" and they like it!
We also have two amazing bidness guys with us now, Shelby and Mike, who we hope to embarrass by getting them to pose in silly superhero costumes. They have been excellent and patient with us on this long project. And a w00t to G-Man and Captain Cascader too :)

**How bad-ass is it that our new company name is "Whiskey Media"? And hellz yah we get to drink as much of it in the office as we want. I kid.
