25 Most Visited Comic Vine User Blogs

Digging deep into the entrails of our community, I've scooped out some more data for you.  What Comic Vine members have the most viewed blogs?  Well take a look below to see the 25 most read members.   Superficial analysis would lead you to believe this is nothing more than a popularity contest.  But actually, the data below is showing the most influential blog posting moves and shakers on Comic Vine.  Some people spend all their time contributing to the wiki, uploading images, or just jumping into the conversation on other peoples topics.   But for now, let's just focus on the contributions of our blog writers.  Check out community blogs here: Comicvine.com/blogs/

Is this a backhanded way of saying "Contribute something besides blogs?"  Just wondering, because ever since this article came out, there's been a flood protection restricition on the number of blogs you can post - even affecting the edits on existing blogs.

I don't understand this.  I have a blog with over 2,000 views but I am not on this list.  Am I misunderstanding something?

Sorry I missed this comment.  Absolutely not.  I'd LOVE people to spend even MORE time creating well written blogs.   The purpose of this post is to encourage more of it.

Flood protection on blogs was just to counter on or two prescription drug spammers who've been targeting our network of sites.

Are you talking about a forum post with over 2000 views?  The chart above only tracks page views for people viewing pages with "blog/" in the url.

Just guessing but I think this must be for December? I have a bunch over 2,000 too. Maybe these folks just have More views/Comments? I wonder what the criteria was...

No problem on missing it, Red'.  I ask the same question I asked over and over, when the flood protection first started though: is it really necessary to flood protect the "edit" function?  Please note that there is no harsh "tone" behind that question.  It just seems silly to keep someone from editing a blog that's already onsite.  Editing doesn't bump the blog to the top/front of the forum, so even if a spammer is editing, it shouldn't be an issue that needs flood protection.
