Been gaming a lot more lately on the PS3.

Resident Evil 6 is surprisingly crap. I would not recommend it to anyone who thinks it will be on the same level as Resident Evil 4 or even 5.

Tekken Tag 2 is awesome, but I've made a topic for that all on it's own.

Batman Arkham City is just amazing.

Fifa 13 is alright. Playing it online is quite fun.

I've still got two games I have yet to play. Silent Hill downpour and Heavy Rain.

I'm very competitive. I enjoy the fierce competition that comes with Tekken games. But I'm out of practice from not playing since Tekken 4. One player from Japan completely owned me using Lili. I know nothing of her except she has some sort of flamenco style of fighting. The guy didn't even tag in Zafina. Just used Lili to annihilate me and my bro playing as Paul Phoenix and Steve Fox.

As I typed all this I suddenly notice you use Lei and Lili. I hope you get very good at those two.

It becomes a bit tedious when all the online players constantly pick Bryan Fury, Jin Kazama, Kazuya and Bruce Irvine.

@Rogan2112: The pack on his back had nothing in it to sustain him? either that, or he realized his favourite TV show was on and he died of a heart attack knowing he'd miss it.

Cool, so you enjoy Tekken Tag 2?

I tell you what though.. I wouldn't recommend anyone to Tekken Tag 2 if they're not competitive. There are some really experienced and skilled players out there.

I swear these players have got the mindset of experienced black belts, but for Tekken.

I even watched one very good player annihilate the opposition using Ganryu.

GANRYU!!

I've only just bought it this week and so far I'm loving it. Especially with the online features.

I tend to have 4 particular favourites and 4 second favourites to play with.

My 4 best: Paul Phoenix, Armor King, Anna Williams and Jack 6

Second 4: Yoshimitsu, Alex, Miguel and Mokujin

I haven't played Tekken since Tekken 4 came out so I'm still a bit rusty. Went online and won a few matches playing alongside with my brother. He was Steve Fox and I was Paul Phoenix. Then we came across some very very good players and got our asses seriously kicked. My brother couldn't hack being juggled around in the air and kept losing his temper. So he's given up on tekken tag 2...

I don't mind the juggle tag team air assaults but they can be frustrating to be on the receiving end of.

Yo, sup everybody.....

Lately, I've been playing Tekken Tag Tournament for the PS3 and I have got to say I'm absolutely loving it.

I though I'd try and start a specific discussion topic about the game since there's plenty to talk about it.

I'll leave it at that for now, since as far as I know, nobody here likes that game.

Well, if you do play it, tell me about your fave teams, fave players and stuff you know about it.

As far as Christopher Nolan and his great film making, I thought two of the three films were very disappointing.  Nolan has made great films like Memento, Insomnia, The Prestige and Inception (although I didn't think Inception was as amazing as some people thought).

The only thing I liked about the first movie was the inclusion of Scarecrow.  Perfectly portrayed by Cillian Murphy.  But the whole backstory of Ra's Al Ghul was a bit odd for me and his fight at the end with Christian Bale was bland.  I actually remember going off to do something else while they were fighting.  I love fight scenes in films, so if it does that to even me, it's failing as far as I'm concerned.
No complaints about the second movie.  Heath Ledger as Joker and Aaron Eckhart as Two Face was just brilliant.  I loved it.

Only just got round to watching Dark Knight Rises last week.  I thought it was just terrible.  I like Tom Hardy but he really got on my nerves whenever he started doing his big villainous speeches.  He just sounded like a tool.  And the bit when Christian Bale starts growling at Tom Hardy for the trigger sounded like "Whrrrressssshh the Trggrrrrr!!!?? Whrrrssshh the Trgrrphkshljkd!!??"  I'm sorry, I laughed my ass off at that part, it was ridiculous.  Suddenly, Batman and Bane really did just look like two idiot men who like to dress up.

Plus, I didn't really find Michael Caine, Gary Oldman and Morgan Freeman likeable enough in their roles.  Three great actors who just came across like smug pricks in the films.

There, I said it.  I think I have closure on those disappointing films, even if nobody agrees with me.

Spinning off from the Night of the Owls storyline in Batman

[edit]

So, I've already checked out Batman Inc and didn't like it at all.  Had a gander at The Dark Knight and didn't care too much for that either.  The Dark Knight just follows on with the mess and gets worse.  As soon as I saw a jacked up Two Face calling himself One Face I got fed up instantly (yeah I know I'm high maintenance and easily uninspired if something seems too unoriginal).
So I'll try out Batman and Detective Comics.  I really think the Batman genre needs a good fresh restart.  Tell the story more chronologically and piece all the best characters together refreshingly.

I read about 5 pages of the first episode of Batman Inc and was fed up of Grant Morrisons 'style'.
I always thought he'd be great doing Batman stories ever since he made Batman: Gothic in the 80's.

Could someone link me the canon new reboot, not including Grant Morrisons stuff.  I'm hoping his stuff doesn't matter with the main series.
