Rogue would be the veteran leader, replacing Cyclops. A majority of the characters would be off on human-mutant political things, promoting others within the X-men, thus making Rogue leader of the group.

I would throw Daken on here to replace Wolverine. Wolverine already has his hand in so many pots right now. I would have Daken rock the old early 90s yellow and brown suit.

He would fit as a tech guy and a experienced member to help advise Rogue.

A medical field agent for the team. It would be fun to see her in fights, aiding the team with her shields and attending to medical incidents.

I think he would be a great fit on the team, and it would be interesting to see his interactions with Daken.

Through circumstances I would somehow and someway put Callisto on the X-Men. Its always good to have some tension on the team with a former adversary.

I would pick Rockslide as the resident big man on the team, and show him as a potential leader with that slight tinge of snarkiness.

Because she is a great character and I would bring her back to the Xmen.

Sunspot would be another great character to have on the team with a unique power.
