No.

Being neighbors didn't keep France and England from fighting each other for centuries. A shared culture didn't stop the Danes and Swedes from murderizing each other for control over each other (and Norway). Being neighbors with a semi-shared heritage didn't keep Japan from invading Korea (repeatedly) or the Mongols from literally depopulating the regions of their empire during their reign. Being neighbors didn't stop Manifest Destiny and the forced Americanization of the contiguous continental America. Having the same heritage didn't stop Israel and Judea from declaring war on each other. Being neighbors didn't keep Assyria and Babylon and Egypt and Ethiopia from going war over and over again with each other.

Sharing borders and living closer together doesn't create harmony, nor does it necessarily take it away. It just makes disharmony easier.

  • Cassandra I found to be genuinely annoying. There are few times I legitimately enjoyed having her around, except to just tank attacks for me.
  • Varric is okay, but I honestly only ever kept him around to get through locked doors.
  • Solas was one of those characters that was just kinda "there". Not particularly interesting, not explicitly uninteresting. He only raised my eyebrows after he was no longer available (spoiler safety).
  • Blackwall had a lot of stuff going on that I found interesting, but his self-pity got grating after a while. He was genuinely decent, but gruff, which I liked, but a bit too gung-ho for the Wardens. That being said, I only really used him as often as I did because he tanked so well.
  • Iron Bull is one of those characters that I wanted to like more than I did. He's got good lines, an interesting enough story (more or less) with a twist depending on how you played it... but I just couldn't care for him. Probably because his character is so squishy in a fight.
  • Cole I liked. He was eerie, useful and his interactions with most characters were surprisingly amusing. His story is pretty good, too, regardless of how you choose to "end" it.
  • Vivienne is a bitch, and not in the "good" way.
  • Dorian was so massively snobby that I couldn't stand having him around at first, but later on I came to find his quips more amusing than annoying.
  • Sera is trash, her speech is bizarre in all the worst ways, and she's entirely forgettable. Easily the weakest secondary character in the game.

All in all, I don't think I found any of the characters as enjoyable as I found the characters from Dragon Age: Origins. In that game, I regularly rotated my roster and thought hard about who I wanted to have around for missions because I loved them all. In DA:I, I barely given any of them a second thought unless I was going to be fighting dragons. There's a grayish nuance that was lost in characterizations between DA:O and DA:I. Even at DA:I's best, they're more shallow and stereotypical.

Actually what 5g plan?

I forgot most of it, but it was basically a relaunch/restructuring of DC's chronological continuity, probably due to the massive consistency (or lack thereof) cluster**** DC caused by folding the N52-verse and Pre-Flashpoint into a single timeline without really making overly clear how it all fit together (sans Superman, and to a much lesser extent, Wonder Woman).

Essentially, Superheroes came and went in generations, with 5g being the fifth generation. It got way more detailed (for better or, more likely, worse) with particular heroes and groups, like Wonder Woman being part of the Justice Society during the 1910s-1950s, things like that. There's probably a chart for it somewhere. DC loves charts

Tbh, I wouldn't have cared either way. I don't even read DC anymore.

I don't hate them, but I did find them unnecessary and annoying. I'm not going to buy a console for a single game, or even several games, when I can just go to a friend's house and play it there (or better yet, borrow it for a few days).

The only reason people do like it is because (1) it makes them feel special to have something that others can't, or (2) it makes them think they're getting more bang for their buck.

Both are effectively untrue, but to each their own.

Murder is the illegal act of killing, specifically other people (more technically-speaking, homocide). In this way, you can put it in the same category as suicide, manslaughter or regicide, which are all specific types of illegal killing.

However, killing in and of itself isn't necessarily illegal. You can kill a roach, kill a racoon or kill fly, and so forth. With people, the state might legally use lethal force against someone, such as an inmate on death row or a policeman killing a belligerent in the line of duty (#controversy)
