Don't get me wrong I love pink too, but I think it has to do with what is visually appealing in a comic book (just like the classic Xmen costumes look all right in comics but would look horrible elsewhere)

@TypingKira: Interesting combination I would never have thought about that. Maybe because the colours are complimentary, not clashing like I like to do when I choose two. I just have boring dark red at the moment (sly as a fox from MAC).
@TheCrowbar: Its not that layered I got it right away. Also continuity would be a horrible porn star name. I doubt most porn fans would even know what it means.
My personal favourite was from the Dixon run on Nightwing. Nightwing is running around a hospital with the character Nite-Wing on a gurney, intent on keeping him alive while eluding bad guys. The guy he helping is not doing so well, Nightwing thinks to himself "I am not a doctor ... and I don't play one on tv." Seemingly pretty innocent, but it was Dixon getting a dig in on how bad the movie Batman 5 was, because George Clooney was Batman but also played a doctor on tv.
Checkmate was the second group to join Task Force X, so I would say it would be better listed under Suicide Squad. Especially the first and last issues of JD dealt almost entirely with ongoing plotlines in the comics titles and only dealt superficially with JD. Better to list under Suicide Squad. Great series though
@SC: Oh yeah, love Walken too. He gets made fun of a lot because of his very distinctive type of talking, but he is a greaat actor. When i started watching Man on Fire in which he had a small role at first i couldnt take him seriously. By the end of the movie I couldnt believe I ever doubted him (plus a newfound respect for Denzel Washington)
If there were two Amazos, one which was programmed to fight the JLA and one one which was programmed to fight the Avengers, and if they then fought against each other who would win? For those Marvel fans out there who don't know Amazo he has the ability to mimic powers and he can thereafter use them indefinitely and in dangerous combinations.
